Pro: Software is good however it is basic bud does what I need.
Con: Serif do not and will not honour free hosting included within there software that I just recently bought ,using every excuse under the sun to not honour, and then lock and block you from talking to them.
Not even a gesture of good will for this reason alone I give it one star but if possible I would give them -5 customer services are rude and if they can't honour offers then these people should not be in business and I am surprised they have lasted as long as they have.
For all they know I could be someone wanting to invest millions of pounds with them but now they will never know

Serif produce some of the best low budget software on the market and are good at that. I can't knock their software but when it comes to the high pressure sales techniques it leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth. As for Customer Service, there is nothing to desire there. I stopped buying from Serif a few years back but still use Web Plus, Page Plus, Move Plus and Photo Plus. They all work well on my new custom built PC with Windows 10 Pro, Recently, I was considering getting more up to date but being on a tight budget do not want to risk contacting Serif again. I feel out with them a few years back, when there was a coding issue in Web Plus. It meant that I had some minor problems with my my web pages. I contacted Serif's Customer Services just to hear them say that there is nothing wrong with the software and that it must be my computer that is the problem. All that without checking anything that I had said. I could not find any conflicts, as they suggested, with my PC at all. After spending £100s on Serif software, I got to the stage, after numerous calls and getting nowhere except for them always trying to sell me the latest versions when I was calling to complain that my latest purchase has a problem, that I will not buy from them again. Even after telling them that I wouldn't buy again, I was flooded with emails offering software and even got more high pressure sales calls. I had to go as far as threatening legal action if they call again. It was harrassment. They would call all hours of the day, if I recall correctly it was up to 8pm. As I still use some of their older software, of which the problem that Web Plus had was fixed with a later update, I can only recommend Serif's software but I can not recommend Serif as a company due to their high pressure sales technique or their serious lack of support. Maybe Serif have changed over the past few years and maybe not but I would have to see evidence of any change before I would buy from them again.

The PagePlus software is really easy to use and has lots of great features allowing for amazing publications!

Serif photoplus x5 is the best photography software i have ever purchased! I haven't been off it since i purchased it last month, i've been so impressed with it! Never been
so happy with a product in ages. As a photography student this has really helped me achieve the grades i need, a software has never helped me so much with anything!

Anyone into photgraphy, this is defneatley worth the money! SO SO impressed with this software. I can't recommend this software enough, best buy of 2013 really really impressed, love it!

Have used a number of Serif products over the years and generally find them easy to use and produce good results. The only drawback is that they somewhat overdo the marketing side of things... it's all very clever, an no doubt effective, but a little bit annoying most of the time.

Over the years I have watched serif grow from a team of enthusists to where they are now - one of the largest.
All their software has been excellent and operated faultlessly.
Constantly updated, upgraded and priced so low, it really is a steal.

I purchased their latest Movie software X5, - they now have X6 out.
But regardless, the HD performance is stunning and with so many output selections available you simply cant go wrong.
Choose from YouTube, 720, 1080i or p and a mass of settings inbetween to keep even the most experimentally prone producer busy along with American standard too.

YouTube formats covered too, where some of my productions now reside.
Most go onto Dual DVD with the last production running to no less than 4hrs .20 mins (please note the software cannot handle that size of production so I had to split into 2x 2hr 10mins - but read on!!!

The X5 movie software can handle a whopping 2hrs 20mins of my latest production, where I had 15 (YES - fifteen) video tracks (special effects etc) and 5 sound tracks for it to handle, so that is quite a feat in my book.

You'll find the older Photo packages could handle upto 300 Gb file sizes at a res of 1200 px safely but no larger.

However, the latest photo package appears to have improved this limit although I have yet to push the bondary here so cannot comment on this aspect though I doubt few will be working with such high res / sized photos unlike my historically important archival work that requires this level.

Delivery has always been fast and efficient, as has the service if you wish to return anything on their 30 day trial guarantee.

So, to round off, all their software is excellent. Its a no brainer at these prices folks! and one that will leave your Bank manager feeling happier :-)
