I had a SmarterMail 4.3 license for years, but finally needed to upgrade to 12 (the latest version at the time of purchase). I decided to buy a full 12.x license rather than upgrade as I wanted to keep the 4.3 server online and use it as a SMTP backup. $52 for a 4 year SSL certificate is a price you can hardly beat. The order and checkout process was extremely simple, though verifying the domain was a bit confusing. I opted to verify my domain by placing a file on my server but it was not clear what "server" we are talking about. Anyway, it worked out fine and the certificate was delivered immediately.
