I am writing this to warn other potential clients…

I am writing this to warn other consumers about the refund practices of ShoppyDealsUK. My order (#424806) from 4 March 2026 was cancelled on 23 March 2026. Despite their written confirmation that a refund would be issued within 14 days, the funds have still not arrived 20+ days later.
When challenged, their support team claimed the refund was 'processed via Stripe,' yet they have refused to provide a Stripe Transfer ID or an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN). Without this basic transaction data, my bank (Lloyds) has confirmed there is no record of the payment.
It is incredibly frustrating to be told money has been sent while being denied the evidence to prove it. I have now been forced to escalate this to a formal bank chargeback and have reported the company to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards. Proceed with extreme caution if you expect your money back after a cancellation.
Edit:
The merchant only triggered the refund after I opened a formal bank dispute. Still no ARN or transaction ID. Recovery only possible thanks to the Lloyds Bank chargeback.
Update 17 April:
The merchant has now sent an automated email admitting their refund 'failed' because the transaction is under a bank dispute. This confirms they only attempted to process my refund after the bank intervened, nearly a month after the original cancellation. This proves their previous claims of having 'already processed' the money were inaccurate. If you are waiting for a refund from this company, do not wait—contact your bank immediately.

Ordered an item in January

Ordered an item in January, waited a while and then there was a few e-mail exchanges as they said there was an issue with their seller... more time passed, more e-mails and got offered a refund in February... more e-mails exchanged and now they just respond with that my refund is with their finance department. It's now the end of March. Taken it up with my bank now, stay well clear!

Failed to deliver the product ordered on 29/01/26. When I chased up on it, I received emails informing me the supplier -Samsung- had a lot of orders resulting in a delay. Contacted Samsung - there was no such order. Agreed to refund on 20/02/26 - nothing received. Do NOT deal with these people. Will be contacting the Office of Fair Trading after this.

Surprisingly pleased

Hello,
Just to clarify I'm intentionally writing this review to advice customers that the negative reviews published here were not always accurate and neither truly reflects reality!
I usually check reviews before online purchases but I wanted really challenge the negative reviews and personally try ShoppyDeals UK.
My order unfortunately was out of stock but during the 10 days I have received updates off ShoppyDeals and this morning, Friday 20th of March after only 11 days from ordering a product, I have requested my refund.
ShoppyDeals UK customer care team replied within 15 minutes and processed immediately my full refund.
On top of that, I have received even an apology email on behalf of their seller who had to cancel my item as no longer available.
So sometimes, we need to keep an open mind and be real objective before jump into easy conclusions.
Also be nice and polite to people always pays off!
ShoppyDeals UK has a great customer service Team and my experience was excellent with them!
Thank you so much for your help and support.

I ordered something and I nothing arrived, no contact possible

I ordered something and I have been trying to chase my order to no avail. Their website orders link is dead, the phone number doesnt work. Also the contact us is down. Basically all forms of communication are dead. So They take your money and run. This company needs closing down as soon as possible as they are just a scam site

Waiting On Refund

Rewrite:

I personally am not happy with the service as I requested a refund on 22nd of Feb for a cancelled order and still have yet to receive it (19th March) as Shoppydeals still say it is processing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I wish I had seen the other reviews before using this website!

Like other I used the website and then never received the item and there was no evidence it was ever attempted to send it. I contacted them and cancelled the order which they say they've done but then said it would take up to 2 weeks for the refund. 10 days after this I finally got an email saying the refund had been actioned, but it could take another 10 days to hit my account - I'm still waiting.

Things got interesting when I mentioned they would get a negative review as they then responded with legal threats and intimidation tactics with an email stating "Formal Notice – Refund Process and Defamatory Allegations".

On analysis of the emails it seems they basically reply with drop shipping and market place dispute templates.

After a few emails back and forth they then tried to further intimidate me by mentioning my company, which had nothing to do with this purchase, and saying it "sometimes attempt to create reputational pressure against online businesses by threatening or publishing negative reviews". This was interesting as they had already told me "We must remind you that making false allegations against a registered business may fall under defamation under the Defamation Act 2013" - interesting they are mentioning UK law when they are a French business.

After each email from them I mentioned that they were just adding to my case and it would be reflected in the review, each time they replied trying to imply that I would edit or change the information, as if I was the one being dishonest....

Several times they tried to discredit review platforms like Trust Pilot, alleging review manipulation.

Because of all of this and the review I said I would leave they banned my account from their website – again, interesting as they kept stating that customer are free to leave reviews.

I paid for an item through shoppydeals

I paid for an item through shoppydeals. The only communication I received was confirmation of purchase. I have contacted them twice to establish when I might expect actual delivery, and have received one response which simply says that it’s up to the seller not themselves, but there is no means of contacting the seller. Their service is basically nonexistent and I would highly recommend not purchasing anything through this website and shop elsewhere.

Scam website

Pretty sure this is a scam website. Placed an order (Order #424703) with a 3-5 day delivery time and still haven’t received it. Wish I’d seen the reviews sooner. Phone number for customer services is not active, haven’t yet received a response to my webpage contact form. Will be going to bank to request a chargeback for fraud. Avoid at all costs.

Reported to Trading Standards

This morning I reported ShoppyDeals to Trading Standards and to my bank to begin an escalated investigation.
Like many of you here, Shoppy Deals failed to ship/deliver the item I purchased, and then they failed to refund me within their own policy terms. In total I have been on this nightmare train for 4 weeks.

I told them about this escalation, and immediately recieved a heated response claiming I was making false allergations against them.

Obviously I strongly advise that you DON'T give your money to Shoppy Deals and to buy your items elsewhere. The product they're advertising to you doesn't exist.

TIP TO GET MONEY BACK

I may not have used this obvious scam website but if you HAVE lost money on here, you could be able to get a claim on PayPal for a free refund. This is what I did when I got scammed one time so give it a go .
