Wrong delivery, great solution. Friendly customer sevices

For the second time I ordered directly at shopviva.com. The first time I heard about VIVA was at a Kusmi store. Since then I was excited about the recharge travel mug of VIVA. It’s a great product for loose tea!
So after ordering the first time from a Dutch webshop I decided to order the second time from VIVA’s website itself. I ordered all the colours of the recharge travel mug a couple years ago. Unfortunately two of them broke down very quick after using them. I wasn't used to this from the mug. But as I started to use them very long after buying I didn’t contact VIVA about it. Wasn’t fair.
However this week I bought 3 new recharge travel mugs and today they arrived. One full of dust and dirt even not boxed as they should be and one other in a different colour than I had bought.
I contacted the customer services of VIVA today and they took this really seriously. They offered me two new recharge travel mugs without sending the ones I already had back to them. Despite of other reviews they did answer me correctly and they told me I will receive new ones. I have always had good contact with the customer services and this time in particular with Yada. She did her absolute best for me and I am happy with the solution they offered. Can’t wait to receive the new ones.

Item only shipped after I asked for a cancellation

Having placed the order, I then hear nothing about it for 2 full weeks. I did receive 2 "spam" emails about 'Where did you hear of us' and 'find us on facebook' which I ignored.

Messaging their customer service I was notified later that day that they would look into it and get back to me.

Another full week passes and I hear nothing back. I reply once more and this time ask that my order simply be cancelled and my money returned. I no longer wanted the product.

Suddenly I then receive a confirmation email that my item has been shipped? This is quite suspicious, and honestly quite a scummy practice. I understand potentially my order was meant to go out that day, but given the timings, I find it unlikely.

Whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth, according to their own website, items should be shipped within 48 hours. But even when that's not the case, a simple email explaining any delays would've been all that I needed to act accordingly. Instead I have to contact customer service several times and end up regretting my entire purchase before my item is suddenly shipped? That kind of practice should not be supported, I know that I certainly won't be returning to make any purchases in the future.

Stay away

We placed a wholesale order and received only some of the items. Every contact method we used was unsuccessful. The email on the website doesn't seem to exist. I don't recommend dealing with this company! The order was placed in March and I still had no way to contact them.

Does not replace broken parts

I purchased a teapot from Viva Scandinavia 5 years ago, which included a filter. Unfortunately, the filter
recently broke, prompting me to reach out to Viva Scandinavia's customer service for assistance.

When I inquired about replacement filters, they responded by stating that they do not sell replacement filters
and suggested purchasing a new teapot instead. While I understand the business decision behind this, I believe
their approach falls short of excellent customer service.

This situation is not only disappointing but also raises concerns about their commitment to maintaining a
sustainable product offering. Instead of providing an alternative solution for my broken filter, they have left me
in a difficult position with no viable repair option.

Worst customer service

Ordered four boxes of tea. I received an email requesting a review of my shopping experience which I thought went smoothly. After over a week with no shipment notification, I sent two emails and made numerous phone calls to inquire about my purchase. I have received no response to my email and the woman I spoke to on the phone had to be told four times what I ordered before she understood and found my order. She said she would check into why my order never shipped and would get back to me. After several days now, once again no response. More attempts to call have resulted in a broken voice messaging system loop. Worst customer service experience ever.

teapot that is not water proof..... and no replacement

I was gifted a teapot, turns out the bamboo lid of the pot breaks within a few months of use because it is not steam proof. When I wrote the customer service it was quickly clear that this brand is a scam. They are NOT Scandinavian, and sell cheap Chinese quality for Scandinavian prices, and are based in Canada. I have the same experience as the other reviewer here: I send a complaint, they reply that I can buy a new product with 50% discount. Which is completely against European customer rights. I have yet to receive an answer to my reply that that is not acceptable. Saying that you are Scandinavian while selling cheap Chinese products from Canada, I do not know if that is allowed. Customer service just send the 50% offer without any acknowledgement that if they make a teapot the materials should be able to deal with water. I feel like I am in some slapstick movie; a teapot that should not get wet??? I mean really? It is wild that such a scam of a company manages to do any business. It looks like it was started by some pr person, as they have three brands , that seem the same kind of a scam, one for tea, one for coffee which is supposedly , and some other one. It s a scam. Don't buy. Buy from people who are honest.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had

Our travel cup broke during routine cleaning. When we reached out to the company they were not interested in the slightest. Their initial offer was a voucher for 50% off a new cup (RRP £45+P&P). When we pushed them fairly hard for just a spare lid or part they explained they had no spares in Europe and that they didn’t know when they’d stock more. Pressed again to provide a solution their next offer was a spare direct from China with a $20 postage cost to us. Pathetic customer service and at all times it was the customer having to push for solutions rather than they provide them. Utter contempt for someone who has spent circa £50 on what is a travel mug. I would advise not to purchase from this brand.

Edited 29/03/23 :: Viva sent a replacement recharge pro. Whilst this was greatly appreciated, the customer service could have been better.
