The firm is only interested in your monies not about your case and situation, when it comes to the real work which is personal and unique, they will try to avoid engaging any deeper or resolving in a super effective way unless you are wealthy and generous enough to keep donating your money to their "business". Which is their genuine interest to happily collect your money.
There are plenty of supports and legal advice over the U.K. including Oversea complicated cases ( like mine ) that you can reach for, for instance gov.uk, Rights of Women, Advocate and Free Family Representation & Advocacy Project - FFRAP where are truly human cares about your family situation and willing to extend their footage to assist on your case. Which I personally worked with all of these organizations and successfully won all the family cases.
Before you sending ridiculous money to a firm like this, think twice and research yourself, don't be fooled by the concept of " money = professionalism " especially you have not received any service yet but being asked to pay a sum in front.
Lastly, you are fully entitled to use "legal ombudsman" to retrieve your lost and ask for compensation if you were unfairly charged by this firm.

The experience and expertise of Shabana and the Shortlands Team was evident throughout the handling of my cases.
