Shpock is a very good platform. The communication from customer service excellent. A buyer gave me a untrue, false and misleading review, I contacted shpock and they resolved it straightaway..Thank you shpock.

Beware since I started paying for the use of Shpock the amount of things I have sold has fallen by 99% for some reason they are blocking people from seeing your ads I have sold 0 items in 3 weeks with only 1 like for a single item even though I have over 40 items of tools for sale my tools never last longer than a couple of days so I checked the reviews and it seems everyone is having the same issue you are better off sticking with other sites and cancelling your monthly subscription with these yes you do I have had people calling me on the telephone asking why I am not responding to there offers you are scamming people so you can make us spend money for your very bad service it’s not just me there’s loads of people having the same issue you just keep telling people to upgrade that’s a rip off people should stick with other sites yours as had it since I have subscribed to your service I got 1 like usually I sell my items within a couple of days so you tell me what’s going on then my prices are still low my items are still worth the money I am asking people want them but somehow you are blocking the sales just to make people upgrade and pay you more money I just constantly keep getting emails from you telling me to get more views of if I upgrade really you are ripping people off as far has I’m concerned you owe me 99 pence what I’ve wasted with you I wonder just how much money you are actually scamming people out of

Shpock is a great selling platform, easy to use and secure. Very responsive if you have any issues, which is rare. I use a few selling platforms , some bumping items is more expensive than others on selling sites.

Shpock, unfortunately is no longer a 'free' platform to sell unwanted items frome home. Shpock claims it's because they want to cut down on advertising, so have introduced a 99p a month charge & will apparently dispense with the adverts on the app., along with offering other benefits. There is also a 'premium membership' of £4.99 a month. Shpock is no longer for the 'home seller', wanting to be rid of unwanted clutter, it now seems geared towards 'resellers'. The site and sellers have been plagued by scammers, with Shpock doing little to address this issue. There are other alternative sites, that can be used to sell unwanted items without a paid subscription! So with this in mind I will be closing my Shpock account, as it is no longer viable to use their service...

How Shpock is set up it allows so many time wasters hardly anything sells.
I was happy to pay £1 per month but then they upped it to £5 virtually straight away.
Its not worth £5 a month its hardly worth £1 per month.
Deleted all adverts cancelled payment and just sticking to Gumtree, Facebook Groups and Facebook Marketplace no problem.

Easy to out online and add sold afterwards

Better selling illegally in streets rather then this useless app

Disappointed with the fee to sell and fee to reactivate items!!!
People are uninstalling the app, hence lost sales.
What a shame, it used to be good.
I pay 99p a month and now you want me to pay 29p per item to reactivate an item.
Im a very disappointed Shpocker 😩

Charging to list when was free I will be deleting Shpock now

Your sellers are the people that supply the products for your service to have any meaning. Without them, you don't have a business. Imagine thinking charging them a subscription before being able to list anything is a good idea 😂 Can't see this app lasting much longer when you can sell for free on Facebook and eBay. Some free advice; let casual sellers sell 5 items a month for free so that they keep the app at least, rather than uninstalling it like I'm about to do.

Shpock are doomed. Since the pay to list nonsense I refuse to use it. I only used it to give items away for free but these lot wanted me to pay them for the privilege. That's never going to happen. Deleted it and will never be back. It never had much local worth buying - even eBay is free now

Have just resumed my contact with Shpock after some time Looking forward to searching for items st reasonable prices

I’m disappointed to keep seeing the same generic response about the “good value” of the new subscription model. I understand that Shpock needs to be compensated for the service it provides, but I don’t believe this approach is working.
Previously, I regularly gave away unwanted household items for free and always received prompt responses. I’m simply not willing to pay to give items away. Since the subscription was introduced, I’ve struggled to give anything away at all — even listings that were posted before the cost model came into place.
My partner has paid for the subscription, yet she has hardly sold anything since, which suggests that user activity has significantly declined. This aligns with my own experience and gives the impression that many users have moved on. Vinted, for example, appears to be thriving at the moment, despite its own limitations such as collection-only listings.
From a usability perspective, the app also feels stagnant. It remains clunky and largely unchanged since the subscription model was introduced, which suggests there is little appetite to reinvest in development for what was once a popular and genuinely charitable platform.
A more reasonable approach might be a small fee only when an item is successfully sold (for example £1 per sale), while keeping free giveaways truly free. This would feel fairer, encourage continued use, and better reflect how many people originally used and valued Shpock.

Shpock has been failing for a long time now. Definitely feels like the app is no longer cared for.
The latest models in their drop down is years out of date which really shows their lack of care.
In its prime back in 2016 it was the best selling app on the market, but it's lost the battle.
No longer free to sell.
Used to be a great app.
Marketplace is largely empty now in the UK. App will be deleted. It's pretty useless as it is.

This is not a good site now as it was created to help communities recycle items and save waste! Now it's charging minimum of 99p per month even if you don't sell anything. I won't be paying while this ridiculous system is in place. Many other better places to go 😤😡
