Simo Lite and Global Day Passes

I've been a long time customer and with new 5G coverage they told me I had to upgrade my device to use my Global Day Passses. I did upgrade to recommended Simo Lite device and still coverage is very spotty in JAPAN, AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND. I was lost because no internet and had to turn on my international roaming on my phone.

I had a very poor experience with Simo…

I had a very poor experience with Simo Solis. The product itself does not work reliably, and when you need help, you’re essentially on your own.

Canceling the service is extremely difficult. I removed my credit card information from the account and emailed multiple times requesting cancellation, but my requests were never acknowledged. There was no confirmation, no follow-up, and no resolution.

This is especially frustrating if you’re in the U.S. and actually need dependable service. If the product fails, you’re stuck — customer support is basically non-existent. There is no phone number to call and no real way to speak to a human.

Overall, this felt like a complete waste of time and money. I would strongly recommend avoiding this product and company.

They changed their Global pay per GB…

They changed their Global pay per GB plan for the Solis 4g router. 1 gb used to last many months as it was deducting mostly the real data you used. Now, even with no devices connected, you loose at least 50 MB per day! I contacted their Customer Service, they say it's normal and it could consume between 50 and 80 MB per day!! The person offered to send me 1GB for free as a gesture, never received it. 1GB costs 12 usd, they say expiration 99 years, well, if you don't turn it on sure. Will shop elsewhere.

A week of empty promises – still no shipment

I ordered the Solis Go Hotspot from SIMO a week ago - and I still haven’t received any shipping confirmation, let alone a tracking link!

After multiple chats and follow-up emails, I finally got a support agent to admit that the product hadn’t even shipped yet. But then, a supervisor sent me a generic copy-paste email telling me to “check the tracking link.” There is no tracking link. That’s been the problem all along.

I run live workshops internationally and planned ahead to receive this device in time. I’ve asked multiple times for clarity - and instead got vague replies, empty reassurances, and no actual resolution.

I didn’t ask for a refund. I simply wanted a product I paid for, delivered on time. And I’ve been patient - too patient.

Right now, I don’t trust that this company is able to deliver what they sell - and I hope this review helps others avoid the same runaround.
