It was very simple and easy to set up a monthly plan spread over 24 months, and one which didn’t increase the cost of not paying all at once. The price is the best competitive price I could find, whil... See more

Made an enquiry and a hassle free, no pressure purchase made

Made an enquiry, received all information by email and a few days later had a phone call from the company to ensure I had received all information I required. The gentleman I spoke with offered to send the same information by post which arrived some 3 days later. My wife and I read through everything, discussed and agreed to purchase a plan each. We purchased our plans via the company website. Totally hassle free, no pressure, consideration given and a purchase made at our own pace. Should you wish to clarify or question anything at all, just ask. The staff are helpful and considerate.

Doctors fees are not included with…

Doctors fees are not included with simplicity cremation, which they don't state on their page. The price for the cremation plan does seem to be cheaper than others but was disappointed. The whole point of having a funeral plan I thought was so loved ones didn't have to find money when it's my time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand that the primary reason for taking out a funeral plan is to provide total peace of mind and ensure your loved ones aren’t faced with unexpected costs.

We would like to reassure you regarding the 'doctor’s fees' you mentioned. As of September 2024, UK law changed significantly under the Death Certification Reforms. These reforms officially abolished the old fees that doctors previously charged for cremation certificates (often referred to as 'Form 4').

Because these certificates are no longer required and have been replaced by a state-funded Medical Examiner system, these fees no longer exist for cremations in England and Wales. By not including them in our plan price, we ensure that our customers are not paying for a medical service that is now provided for free by the NHS.

Our goal is to keep our plans as affordable and transparent as possible by only charging for the services actually required under current legislation. We are sorry if this wasn't clear on our website, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention so we can ensure our wording is as helpful as possible for future customers.
