Shady, poor salesmanship, waste of time!
Went into dealership on 12/30/15 to look at used vehicles. Was approached by a nice young salesman, Leon Henry. Very professional but then came in the finance people (two older men, first James; then Jimmy, heavy set with white hair). Wasn't looking to waste my time or theirs. Car was 2014 Nissan Sentra S. Told him price I would like to pay but I knew that number was a stretch. Sticker price started at $13,795. They came down to $13,750, then $13,700. Was trying to get lowered to $13,500 and would've closed deal on spot. They wouldn't budge. Ok. We liked car, left deposit and I signed binder. I hesitated to walk out of dealership same day with car. Would come back next morning to pick up car. Doing online search later that evening, found same car at S.I. Nissan for $12,795, same VIN! Go into dealership next day and they wouldn't honor price found online. Said they didn't know how cars.com had car at that price. Asked for and was given my deposit back and I left. End of story, right? Nope! Receive call from another finance manager, another Jimmy (last name Rosario) out of the blue on 1/2/16. Stating that he wanted to close the deal with me. Oh, really... I stated my dissatisfaction and said I wasn't interested. He says that he will speak to his manager and see what he can do for me. He calls me back to offer car for $13,250-13,500 and says lower price was misprint and was now corrected on website. So what's he doing for me??? I was already done with these jokesters. Bunch of crooks! I will NEVER attempt to do business with these crooks again. Dealership under new ownership, same old tricks!
