I've been getting laser hair removal with Dee for years now and she's amazing! She does a great job and makes me feel comfortable.

Very pushy sales tactics, whenever I left my appointment I was taken to the front desk and whoever was sat at the desk would tell me “we actually have a deal on at the moment” (which was every appointment) and they’d give me what felt like a made up price for another course of treatment, usually from a manual calculator (surely there would be a set price list for treatments, with or without an offer). This was even after appointment 1 of 6. It felt very pressured and hard sell.

I also had a different therapist every time, and most were professional, however nobody seemed to know how many sessions I’d had/what strength I’d had previously so felt very impersonal each time.

I wouldn’t mind all of the above as much, if the results had been good. However after my 6 sessions I am not much better off than I was previously. I’ve had a 6 session course of laser at another clinic on a different area 6 years ago, which left me hair free to this day. So it does feel that low levels are used, that the clinic combines with hard sells, to try to keep people coming back.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Dee was fantastic as always! Super friendly, chatty, makes you feel at ease, checks in re pain levels to make sure it's not too uncomfortable and also does a thorough job. Been having laser hair with SkinSpaceUK for years now and all the staff are lovely and they often have great offers on too - massively recommend SkinSpaceUK!

Neelam was so lovely and made sure I was comfortable at all times but in fact the whole treatment was painless,

I’ve been doing laser for almost 2 years and the only results that I have seen are the ones prior to Skin Space. I was never given a consultation, pressured into paying for extra sessions and ignored when I raised issues about side-effects with my skin. I was scammed out of hundreds of pounds and received no apology from the management team. All the Therapist in house are lovely and it’s a shame that the management team cannot have the same said for them. I would advise to seek a different laser clinic if you don’t want to lose money, have your time wasted and have your skin at risk of damage.

I've been having laser on my legs at the Manchester clinic and am seeing definite results. From a very dark start point the hairs that are growing back are much finer to the point where it doesn't really bother me to just leave them.

The process speeded up especially with the new machine - it's noticeably more powerful. Thanks to Raluca who's been completely lovely throughout the whole process x

Hi, I was sold a package over the phone and I requested a refund for it. I spent £700 and I have not heard back at all from this company.

Dee was amazing, very positive lady and made my session so relaxing looking forward to seeing her again

This is an early days review, because I have a lot of treatments ahead of me to see a final outcome from laser and electrolysis treatments at the Manchester branch so this review is not based on any results but on the feeling and the staff.

So far all the self have been lovely and friendly and seem to being a great job but I feel they get greatly let down by higher management who seem to want every member of staff to try and sell you more appointments for other treatments every time you go, from in the treatment room to the front desk it’s always a sales pitch even know I say each time I’m not interested right now due to already having a lot of appointments booked in for a lot of money so can not afford any others.

It generally puts me off from recommending them to other people, or from being willing to book other treatments with them in the future for myself. What’s a shame because without the forced sales pitch I feel this would have been a 5 star review.

So I wish higher management would stop putting the focus on the staff to get more sales every appointment and to just let the staff focus on getting a great outcome from the treatment in a welcoming manner where you don’t feel you being put under pressure to buy other treatments and I feel like that in its self would bring in more sales once the time comes when the treatments you are already paying for our over.

Customer service shocking from head office !
Overpaid for a package due to error by receptionist which was acknowledged in branch ,they can't do refunds in branch was asked to email SUPPORT skinspaceuk email address to receive a partial refund ....quite a simple procedure you would think ...Over a month has passed...still NOTHING. Called another customer number I found online.... a lady answered who had no clue couldn't even give me a phone number wasn't Interested at all just kept calling me HUN ,absolutely clueless . Have re-emailed ,maybe I'll be waiting another month .....who knows !

Therapists in clinic are fantastic at what they do and lovely! My stars are given to them.

Great at selling but not great at delivering.

Customer Service and response times are terribly slow and inadequate! I have been trying to resolve a customer service issue, 3 consecutive appointments cancelled and no refund! I have to chase responses on every email I send to the support team and also the Manchester clinic. I have now been in contact with a solicitor to resolve as not getting anywhere.

Still waiting on a refund for a cleansing kit I ordered in March which I didn’t receive
