Excellent company to deal with, very easy and professional would definitely recommend and use again.

Unlike many skip companies these guys were fantastic to deal with - very professional and helpful throughout. They were unable to source the size we wanted at first, so offered us the next size up for a nominal fee, which was delivered on the promised date and collected on a Saturday after I contacted them on Thursday afternoon to say it was ready for collection. Having heard so many stories of full skips taking ages to be collected these guys are a revelation! Thoroughly recommended!

Pricey for the size of the skip and a delayed collection date

The skip arrived in the time frame given and the driver contacted me via phone when he was 30 minutes away.
Both drivers (delivery and collection) were polite and helpful and took great care when moving and unloading/loading the skip onto their truck.
Thanks to the information on the website I was able to make an informed decision regarding the size of skip I'd need and it was perfect for the job we were doing.

I did a quote online waited 2-3 days for a call back verry friendly staff but the price had jumped from a good price to a extremely stupid price because I didn't live close to my city .I am not happy as I have limited time to do this job and I now have to a get a skip asap and possibly pay double because there maps can't tell the difference between Aberdeen and peterhead postcodes

I recently ordered a skip through skip hire network. I completed an enquiry form online and within the hour I received a call off a very friendly gentleman. He was very helpful, I was asked for a few more details and within 30 minutes I received a call back from him and my skip was booked in for delivery. I paid over the phone which was quick and easy and I was able to get the skip on the specific date I asked for. The driver on delivery of my skip was very friendly (he even called me when he was on his way). I called Skip Hire Network back the week after, once my skip was ready for collection. Once again I was very impressed with the helpfulness I received from the lady who answered the telephone. My skip has now been collected and I will definitely be using this service again.

We booked the hire for the school, and there was no communication made for the collection, randomly they came for collection.

Unprofessional and very poor communication

I booked a skip and pre-booked a collection. Due to bad weather we couldn't fill the skip so I immediately cancelled collection with a number on the delivery slip. All was fine, or so I thought. The collection job had been cancelled- however a Skip Hire Network called the skip company and rebooked my collection. Of course it was a wasted journey because the skip was still being use. Skip Hire Network then charged me for the 'wasted journey' charge. Which was not my fault. After some back and forth they agreed to charge me half. I am not happy with this- but they refused to book a collection until my penalty payment is received. Horrendous treatment given I did nothing wrong.

On delivery, driver had to be stopped and admonished for driving too fast and too close to my van (1" away!).
On first collection attempt, driver claimed skip was overloaded, was told I was on way to remedy situation and would soon arrive but chose to leave site when I was approx 5 mins away. Obvious delay in communication by having to relay through a third party. I was then charged a "wasted journey" fee of £50, paid over the phone by card and asked for but was refused a transaction reference number. Was told would receive receipt/invoice (legal requirement!) by email....still waiting for it.
To be fair, the driver who actually collected the skip was a very nice chap. That gives this review one star.
Will neither use again nor recommend. Will stick to local companies. Communication is direct and they are cheaper.

Got a large skip from Recycling Lives with no troubles or issues. Wooden planks were placed to protect our drive and the skip was just what we needed.

Excellent all round service

Skip arrived when expected and was placed on to my driveway with care and consideration (on to wooden planks to avoid damage). It was collected at my convenience. A stress free experience.
