Purchased from jaguar.removed battery…

Purchased from jaguar.removed battery after a month.it kept saying battery low start engine, and boot would occasionally not open or engine not start .put old battery back in fob.all ok now.

Works perfect!

I have used this product for 2 years now and it works prefect. Sometimes I even forget that I have it, because I don't even notice that it is inside my car key.

Very bad company

Very bad company! The sell you 2 batteries but when the first battery is empty the second one is already dead! The don’t give you a new one. So you pay 100euro for only 1 battery! That’s insane!!!

Sleeping Battery Duopack

Product: [Product Name] CR2023 Batteries (Order #CART-01463-61899-WYQ5T)

Purchased: January 2nd, 2024

Depleted FOB battery warning date: October 21st, 2024

Issue: Both batteries I purchased drained to critically low levels within a year. One battery was used in a car FOB, while the other was unused. Jan 2024 to Oct 2024.

Expected Battery Life: CR2023 batteries typically last 2-3 years.

Issue: Normal CR2023 Batteries come with an average charge of 3.0V to 3.4V. The batteries I had bought had reached 2.56v and 2.50v in a matter of 10 Months. The depleted state for a CR2023 is 2.7v. So they must have reached that threshold much earlier than 6 months.

Defective Batteries: The rapid discharge suggests a possible defect in the batteries.

Evidence: I attached pictures of the batteries and their charge states.

Request: I asked for a full refund or replacement for these defective batteries.

Response from info (at) sleepingbattery (dot) com: They said they cannot refund or replace after 6 month (how fitting) but offered a 20% discount. The argument they made was that some cars talk to their FOBs more than others; let me translate that for you: "our batteries will drain within 6 months to unacceptable voltages."

These two batteries cost 70+ Euros. They don't last a year. A simple RF blocker case is a better investment if you still want the security benefits.
