We have recently had some walk on glass installed by slimline glazing and they did not disappoint only for a little delay everything we asked was completed in a timely fashion, the team are very efficient.

Take the money but no idea of service! The installation was late, of really poor quality and still not finished after nearly a month. No one replies to calls, they promise to call back but never do. Require constant chasing. Avoid at all costs.

Utterly Terrible experience from beginning to end. Customer service, installation, product, communication and aftercare. All terrible.

Do not use this company. Not capable to deliver project on time and correctly.

All installation was done incorrectly, did damage to existing. Complained over a year ago and responded with excuses and delays...

Recently closed down the company and started with a new under same name. That says it all.

We spent over 15k with this company, they measured and reinstalled roof glass panel about 6 times with months between one installation and the other. Even when completed the roof was leaking and the company did not respond to our request to it. By the time they came around they damaged paint, plaster and left the glass with rubber finger prints all over.

We had to engage a surveyor and the manufacturer of a large bifold door they installed as the installation was done incorrectly and the design was not follwoing the order we made, wind and humidity cooming through damaging everywhere. The company never fixed it and continued to kick the ball forward hoping we got tired of asking.

All the grouting and sealing of the door and windows were done incorrectly and came part after only few weeks.

This company also says that provides insurance backed warranty, as far as our project they never provided anything of the sort.

They used to be member of the GGF and we started a complaint with them in June, however the company decided to file for liquidation and set up a nuw LTD which is not member of the GGF, despite the claim they are still members on their website. Given the company was in liquidation GGF could not continue with the claim.

Do not trust them!

Having been let down by a previous company, Slimline stepped up and really went out of their way to hit a really tight deadline to make sure we had our new walk on glass in place by our tight deadline.

Every member of staff from ordering to install were really friendly and polite and more importantly to me, they were always here when they said they would be.

I would highly recommend Slimline for both their products and professionalism throughout the entire process.

Having browsed around we came across Slimeline having read many reviews online, we had the SL18 Hyline Sliding Door System installed by Tony and his team, top bloke to deal with and the install was handled very well, i was very impressed and the pricing was fair.

We have been very happy with Slimline service and communication. We love our new sliding doors and roof light.
Even though we had few issues on the day of fitting, the installers were patient, professional and conscientious, they worked hard and managed to complete the installation on time and to great standard.
My only note/advice would be to make the instructions for the requirements ahead of the installations slightly more reader friendly as different interpretation of the instructions between trades led to few difficulties and potential issues, but all was luckily resolved by good will from both sides.

Thank you Slimline for our gorgeous SL20 doors and huge fixed window.The whole team from Rasa and Scarlett in the office to the 'A' team of Reimas and Ricardo fitting them were incredibly professional, polite and thoroughly helpful guys with a very focussed attention to detail. They've transformed our house and surpassed our expectations; the elegant doors' sightlines are so thin that our views of the Channel are now spectacular. Highly recommend.

We have had nothing but problems with Slimline - from the spontaneous shattering of one glass door (ie we returned home and it was completely splintered...and then we were told the glass is not covered under warranty), to the customer service (full of empty promises - this issue took 2 months to sort out), to reoccurring issues (doors wouldn't lock - 9 months to resolve - during which we were uninsured...and kept mentioning the gravity of the situation to the team....to little avail), fuzz coming away from the door (twice in a year ). We have had repair guys come and not fix the problem, and the most recent issue (in the last week) had us complain about the fuzz coming away again - we received and email shortly after saying someone would contact us to resolve the issues and almost a week later - no call and no date set to fix the issue. If we could go back in time - we would never, ever have used them.

From start to finish Bob was helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly always available. Our job turned out to be more complicated than we anticipated but Bob found a way to resolve the issues and most importantly, satisfy our Building Control officer! Thank you for a wonderful end product!

Having investigated a huge number of sliding doors systems, and physically viewed a shortlist of six different companies, we decided the SL20 Otimma doors were the most superior and had 12 mts installed by Slimline.
They look stunning and we are equally impressed with the aftersales support as when one of the doors needed adjusting due to small movement of the new house they came within a day. Special thanks to Tony and Bob.

Our builder chose Slimline as we had an angled glass roof and oriel window. He visited the showroom, signed the contract, paid deposit, template taken, frame installed, bulk of monies paid - all going well. Glass delivery was set for 2-3 weeks after the frame was in.

And this is when it became a nightmare.
2 weeks after the frame was in - my builder told me Slimline were not returning his call to confirm the installation date.
3 weeks (deadline they gave us) - no word from Slimline, I started calling them.
They told us they had a supplier issue and were trying to find an alternative supplier to produce our glass. Fair enough, it happens.

We were given two possible new installation dates, and told they would get back to us, but I then had to chase three times the following week to get an answer.
On their confirmed installation day, my builder and I were both waiting at the house at the appointed time, and no-one showed. After an hour, I called Slimline who only said someone would be there in the afternoon.
After waiting an hour past the afternoon time, I called Slimline again. They said the truck was loaded, but it was too late in the day to do much so they promised me it would all be there first thing the next day. The next day - only 50% of our glass came.
The next 2 weeks were stressful.
People would not take calls from either myself or my builder, they had 80% of our money and the stories around the 'factory' letting them down started to wear thin. No-one could even say when the other 50% of our glass would get produced. All this time, and the factory had not even MADE the glass.
Slimline said there was no way they would consider compensation, as it was not them who was causing the issue.

Eventually, after many, many calls (and my tears) our glass showed up. Almost a month after the outside deadline of 3 weeks.
The only upside, when we had an issue with the Oriel window installation - they sent a team around straight away. Having it all in now - it does look good.
BUT. The handling of our order made me doubt we would ever get our glass. It added another LONG month cooking around a kitchen table in an upstairs bedroom with a lot of emotional stress.
I could not in good conscience leave a customer review that did not get that across.

I have used Slim line aluminium for my last 2 refurb jobs . Tony has met me onsite to go through details and made sure that all progressed smoothly . He has supplied and fitted some bi folds doors , windows , entrance doors , walk on glass and balustrades . The last refurb job he did , wasn't the cheapest of the all the quotes I received but I will to continue to use the company for the professional service , excellent product knowledge ,attention to detail and most importantly to me ,met my deadlines !!

We had Slimline Glazing recommended by a friend to install our doors for our new extension we has 2 sets and they are amazing they slide so easy and everyone comments on them when freinds come to see us,
The service was really good and an easy company to get on with and the fitters were great.
