I had ordered a couple products and they hadn’t been processed for a few weeks, which was a bit frustrating. However, the company reached out after I attempted to refund. They clarified that they were behind and working on my shipment ASAP to include give me a small refund for the inconvenience. I think this showed a lot of care for their customers.

There was an item on the SmallRig order page actually unavailable that the staff had to sort out, and delivery took 4 weeks or so as they said, but overall smooth experience. S70-A is a versatile product, easy to use. Important that the app can be used in guest mode without registering an account. Tested sound quality as a lapel mic against my desktop reference mic. With male equalization makes my voice sound clear and almost the same detail.

There are several important items I'd like to speak of. Firstly, there is the unique design and scale of the SmallRig products I purchased. They were very appropriate for what I wanted. Also, the quality of manufacture is excellent.
Lastly, SmallRig delivered the order very promptly.

I purchased the Filter Adapter for iPhone 17 Pro/ Pro Max: FilMov Attachable 67mm Filter Adapter for the new 17 Pro Max Cage. The plate did not fit rubber iphone case where it is supposed slide on. The skids did line up properly. Also, the plate did't line up with the lenses and sensors on the iphone. Either the lens are exposed and the sensors or not OR the wide lens in covered and the sensors exposed. What can be done to rectify this?

Charged VAT on purchase and on import.
VAT wasn't shown on the waybill.

Applicable duties should be disclosed before hand. Not when the product is mid-shipping (in transit). An option to show applicable duties before checkout would have been nice. Now I've ended up paying the same amount, as I would have if I decided to purchase through Amazon. As I am a prime member, they tend to offer me free two day shipping!
I waited more than 5 business days for this purchase to arrive.
I am experiencing major buyers remorse now with my Smallrig purchase from Smallrig! 👎🏼

Ordered close to 1k of gear for a festival on 3/14 & 3/14. Ordered it on the 2nd. It went from New Jersey to California and still isn’t in Colorado. So if you need gear quick and for an event you can’t rely on these guys.

First all the extra fees attached ( us vs ca, delivery, customs) passed from 39$ to almost 100$.
Second the clipping system I taught it would be more sofisticated

Waited over 3 weeks with no update to my order. I had to Email them requesting an update only to be told that they don’t have stock and it could take 4-6 weeks. I eventually received the product but I’m unhappy with the process and the fact that I had to chase it up myself to get an update. Had I known it would take this long I would’ve made an alternative purchase through other means.

Ordered in December, delivered in March. I sent multiple emails, their customer service stalled multiple times saying it would ship or was shipped when it wasn’t. TLDR; I was lied to 2-3 times. Threatened a chargeback, almost thought I was scammed.
I needed this gear for multiple shoots and I incurred rental fees because SmallRig could not hold themselves accountable. The gear finally arrived and is fine, but my confidence in this company is shattered. Be warned, set you customer service and delivery time expectations LOW.
3/15/26 Edit: Marvin at Smallrig offered the equivalent of a 10% off coupon on their website (which I have zero confidence in and they admitted in email that it has inventory mgmt problems). This just kind of rubs salt in already open wounds.
I will update if this is truly resolved, but buyer beware.
