DO NOT CALL/HIRE SMART FIXES TEAM LLC TO FIX YOUR APPLIANCES. My washing machine would not spin. I did an internet search and found a company called Appliance Pros that serviced my area: ‘Appliance Pros (24Hr) - 24Hr Cleveland Appliance Emergency Repair/Service Top Appliance Pros in Cleveland. Schedule Your Service. 888.393.3444 or 253.528.8150..’ Called Friday morning, 12/13/2024 at about 11.15am; a woman named Millie answered, I told her the problem, she said someone could come the next day between 10am-12pm and the cost would be $85.00. The ‘technician’ came 12/14/2024 with nothing but a backpack, I explained to him what had been happening with the washer; he didn’t respond, but took apart the washer; and then, pulled out his iPhone and using a translating app on his phone to translate, no wonder why he didn’t respond when I explained the problem and my reason for calling, wrote/said that I needed new springs and they had to be ordered. He said the cost would be $250.00 and I had to pay $150.00 right then and there, the balance was due when it was done. I was paying with a check and became a bit concerned when he gave me a completely different company name to write the check to: Smart Fixes Team LLC not Appliance Pros. I also became concerned when he gave me no receipt, no statement, no invoice, nothing. Using his phone he said, they would be in and someone would call me by the middle of the week to set up the time to come and repair the machine. No one called so I called Smart Fixes Team LLC on Wednesday, 12/18/2024 at 5.15pm and they said they had to call the technician and call me back; they called back about 10 minutes later and said the technician could come the next day between 4-5pm or any time on Friday; I had an event to attend that evening, but thought 12/19/2024 would work if they came on time; thinking on it later that night, I called them and had to leave a message at 6.10am on the following morning, Thursday, 12/19/2024, and asked if they could come on Friday instead; no one at this alleged ’24-hour service’ company returned my call so I called again at 7.53am and again at 9.27am; Smart Fixes Team LLC finally returned my call at 10.14am and said someone could come on Friday, 12/20/2024 and said the technician would come between 8-10am. The Smart Fixes Team LLC technician arrived after 10am, took the machine apart, and using his phone again, told me HE HAD THE WRONG PARTS. I looked at the box and it was from Amazon! He said, using his translator phone, he would try to go around to shops here in town, try to get the correct parts and come back. Four hours later, at 2.10pm, I called Smart Fixes Team LLC to find out what was going on as no one had called and he had not come back. They said they had to call the technician and called me back at 2.33pm saying he could not get the parts, they had to RE-order them, he would come back Monday, December 23, 2024 between 8-10am (this is TEN days after I first called to get my washing machine repaired). Then Smart Fixes Team LLC called back again and said the parts wouldn’t be in until 2pm so the technician would come between 3-4pm (THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVE!). On Monday, December 23, 2024, at 4.05pm no one had come so I called Smart Fixes Team LLC and they had to call the technician and call me back. They said he would be here in 10 minutes and about 15 minutes later he arrived. He installed whatever it was and said, via his phone, I was able to do a full load of laundry. I tried to do a load and it still would not spin. He did not fix it at all. DO NOT CALL/HIRE SMART FIXES TEAM LLC TO FIX YOUR APPLIANCES. They do not know what they are doing, they take your money and then don’t fix the appliance, their advertising is false, they have no respect for and waste your time.
