Were very efficient in what they did and kept us up to date every step of the way. They did a fantastic job and very happy with the service received.

Started off really well with admin staff being helpful and giving necessary information. Agent Richard Thomson is lackadaisical, it took three emails for him to respond even after an application and over two weeks for him to advice if application is successful! Not even a call to find out about the viewing or give the necessary information to rent the property.

I have now sold 3 properties through Smart Move (mainly dealing with George & Shiobhan) estate agents. TBH, I was sceptical, at first, as their costs were so much lower than “traditional” estate agents but I could not have been more wrong. They were, truly, magnificent, totally professional, prompt and a delight to deal with from start to finish.

I would not hesitate to recommend Smart Move to any prospective sellers.

Last year I got my first buy to let property and had no clue on where to start or what a landlord had to have in place before I could get a tenant. Smart Move was recommended to me and in 1 phone call I had my agents. They got to work immediately arranging all the safety checks and everything I needed to comply. They guided me on every step and my property was advertised really quick with regular updates from the team, in less than 2 weeks my 1st tenant was in. The staff are friendly, efficient and their knowledge of letting is impressive. I receive my rent every month promptly and any maintenance is taken care of, I can't fault the service from Smart Move.

Easy to get hold of and deals with issues promptly and you don't need to follow up on stuff.
Compared to the rates of other letting agencies I find there rates to be very fair for the level of management that is offered.

We began our tenancy during the pandemic and everything from start to finish was very smooth. Everything was dealt with electronically , all repairs that have arisen during the first days were dealt with timeously, safely and efficiently. emergency repairs have been carried out within no more than fee hours from reporting and All the repair men are always so nice and pleasant. Communication is always good and I cannot complain about it at all. So far we've have been very happy. Great service!

I have been a tenant with this company for 8 years with 2 different properties. Excellent staff and company to deal with. Nothing is ever an issue regarding repairs or their contractors.

Amazing staff to deal with, would recommend to anyone!

This company is a joke. We don’t have access to our own meter and have to ask the landlord to provide us with it and usually he just sends us numbers instead of a photo (sent a photo of the meter box maybe twice) and is usually quite ignorant and/or late when I ask him to get it. We had had many issues in our flat including a leak in the master room on the roof which has not been resolved, they’ve came in to see it, took and pic then left? (Usually don't give a warning/notice when they’re coming either, just show up at your door) we’ve had a leak in our bathroom since moving in in December and they keep telling us there is no leak when they’re clearly is as the floor is soaking and processed to say “no no no there’s no leak here, it’s bone dry” while standing in the puddle on the floor and the lino on the floor has all came up and is ruined because it’s constantly leaking.
Wouldn’t recommend going with this letting agency to anyone. Waste of time and money.
