I would definitely recommend the services of SML, and especially Sam McEwan, who led the sale of our property. What could have been a complex and frustrating process, due to delays from other parties, was made much smoother thanks to Sam. Sam provided regular updates, went above and beyond expectations, and worked tirelessly to get things over the line. Sam’s experience and knowledge in this area are evident, and we will certainly be using her for future property sales.

Having used SML for two conveyancing matters (and unfortunately one litigation matter) in the past 6 months I can attest to the professionalism, calm demeanour, and quiet efficiency in all dealings, and would certainly choose to use again in future.

Slow and poor service throughout

Avoid! Absolutely disgusting, I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. Their email replies took weeks, and were impossible to be reached by phone, there was always an excuse why they can’t be reached. They failed to register our commercial lease, even though we paid for the services and the land register fee. Stay away from this lawyer and its team if you wanna save your time and spare your mental health please go elsewhere!

Charlotte was amazing, she made a very stressful process (buying and selling in this crazy economic climate, with a steal framed house) as straight forward as possible. She was always informative and responded quickly. Thanks for making the law firm the easiest part of this process!
