was good then issues
i was a member of the site and wasnt getting too many replies to any messages i sent, then i spent 500 points i had earned to boost my profile. i started to receive mails from woman and got more people browsing my profile. i noticed a few errors in spelling in my profile and went to change them and it was taking ages to edit and change. then my browser crashed and i had to relog into smooch. to my surprise i found i couldnt log in with the username email address or password i had created. i have tried to contact them but upto now i have only had one reply saying to check how i typed it in cos it is case sensitive. lol i was an IT consultant before i got my cancer and i think i know how to make sure i am typing my email address and password correct. to cut a long story shortish i created another account and did a search for my old character. he was there with a different name to the one i had given him. very weird and still waiting for smooch to tell me what has happened. the site was ok and when i upgraded my profile i got more views and messages but not sure if they are real yet or fake profiles. hope they are real cos some seemed nice.
To meet new friends and see old ones
There are some very nice men on this site considering it's a free site ..it's a lot better than the ones you pay for
Worst site ever
Do you see those fake positive reviews from Marjolen or something and 'Yum Yummy', for one thing? Scroll down to the end of the page! Different names, same text, and an answer from Smooch! Cons! Yuck (((
My experience with this site is definitely the worst - free at first, then suddenly you have to pay for everything, even to see when as the last time the user was online? Puh-lease! This is just ridiculous. And whatever they may say, there are fake profiles made by staff members. They send you those 'You're Smoochable (a nasty word, by the way, in my opinion), let's chat' things to make you pay. And even if the profile were real, what do I do if I pay to write this user, but they are not a paying member and so they still will not be able to read my msg and reply? Great way of tricking people into paying! I already told all of my girlfriends to NEVER EVER join this site. Scam. Totally. If it were possible, I could have given them zero stars.

Former Soldier SHEFFIELD
My time on Smooch has been fun and I have made many new friends who I still message now. The site was easy to use and I like the clear photos and the guys profiles are detailed. I have had some dates but no one was a match for me but still message by text even now. Its a shame Smooch don't monitor messages sent and received for unsavoury characters. The above guy is on many sites he is a gamer trying to bed as many women as he can. All he was intrested in was my chest, getting me into bed which he didn't and wanted me to send him a rude pic! Very strange guy..now blocked him...be ware ladies!!..Smooch ladies need this information avoid ladies

Charges on a supposedly free site.
When I found out it was no longer free I went to delete my account in settings and couldn't find it until I scrolled down past all the blurb. I then looked in *the small print and under it was the delete link in absolutely tiny letters and light grey so can be easily missed. Certainly on a phone. Not a good choice smooch.
Awful
Having been on Smooch.com for some time, I noticed I kept getting mail, particularly from one "person" which says "Hi. I think you're smoochable. I'd like to chat sometime". So, after having at least a dozen of these from the same "person" (staff member probably), I messaged "him" to say stop sending these stupid messages - to find I would have to pay to send the message! No warning they were going to start charging so I want to delete my account, followed instructions to delete it, only to find that there is no delete account. OK. So Smooch want to play silly. I will go to my e-mail and mark any messages as spam. With any luck their ISP will pull the plug on them. Sharp practice from Smooch. I really hope they go bust very quickly.

Biggest Con
Dont join this crazy site, its now not free, you have to pay to message etc. A lot of made up profiles by smooch team, to show interest, smooch or message, when you try to open, or see who's smooched etc guess what they want money.... Its the biggest con ever and a load of rubbish, just like other reviewers have said, with no prior warning. Much better free sites.
Im sure and I hope they loose loads of profiles.
OH AN GUESS WHAT, ONLY GOOD REVIEWS GET A RESPONSE FROM SMOOCH... THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS

Just been had into paying
Have been on smooch on and off for a while, now they are asking you to pay to message, I think I have just been played by admin staff.
Was chatting to a guy (or so I thought) and after a number of messages you then get asked to pay so your message can be sent, I did this, thankfully only for a week, my message then got sent, and guess what, no more replies, so smooch got what they wanted, my money.
I can't see this being a member who hasn't paid so they can't reply, as what is the point in that and all the messages, also a bit of a coincidence that as soon as I pay there are no more messages.
Going to see if I can complain, and then I am going to leave smooch, I will be surprised if they do not lose quite a lot of members. You cannot have some members paying and some not. Plus I don't like paying for online dating as you do not know if your really chatting to a member or staff.
no longer as good as it was
No longer Free as advertised gone rubbish now time to move on been with the site for a few years but no more time to say Good bye to Smooch.com.
Its also stranger reading some of the posts that any goodfeed back gets a reply from smooch but not any bad feedback why is this ?
No longer free
Advertises as being free. Suddenly it's not anymore. No prior warning. Goodbye Smooch. I'm not paying your "fees".
Have used Smooch for about 6 months ...... WAS GREAT !!!!
Hi, SMOOCH WAS GREAT !!!!! .....
However now without any warning to users of the site, Smooch have now stopped free use of the site. You have to now pay to send messages, view who has viewed you and access who has smooched you. this was done without warning and as a result , people have suddenly lost contact with each other. If I was to pay to message my contacts, if they were not paying users, they would not be able to reply. You could be sending messages to people whose profiles are on the site but who are unable to reply....... SMOOCH WHAT A ROTTEN TRICK TO PLAY AND A TOTAL CON !!!!!!!

Hi my names is Sarah, I live in Dronsfield. I came off Smooch dating must be at least 2 months ago now. I did chat over all with some nice people in my area. It's one of the better sites
The site is ok, and they do get back to you if you have a problem.
But the matches they pick for you? Well suppose you couldn't expect a lot as its free
Their are a lot of non genuine people on here and I wish they would find a way of getting them off .

Okay dating site but the linked sites start to cost much more
I am a genuine man seeking a genuine gal, but have had issues with getting photos on the system, and turning off the introduction emails which seem to drop into users in boxes every 10 minutes which is a bit off putting.
The users are a wide mix, but as with every dating side the players are the ones that seem to often get the first bite of the cherry so to speak. Human nature I suppose, which means the genuine ones are often left to pick up the pieces of ladies or gents bad experiences.
