Bought a sleeping bag online as I am out of state from their stores. It cost me $56 to return it. The customer service people were pretty uninterested in helping me.
Ridiculous amount to pay in postage, especially when you can’t view item in the store.
Won’t shop there again. I hate the chains but at least you don’t get this crap.
They didn’t even respond to my Email.

False advertising - the fact that on their web landing page you are greeted with a spend and save promo, they withhold the fact that 'most' items are excluded only at checkout is it made apparent.
Appalling customer service pre and post purchase.
Do not buy online unless you are absolutely certain you will not have to return the product. I spent 2 hours trying to have a phone and live chat conversation to enable the return of a faulty product, and then with no guarantee of an acceptable outcome.
I do however want to give a big shoutout to the guys at Brendale who helped me through this exasperating and unpleasant experience and bore my unloading on them about it. They were great and I'm thankful there was at least something positive in the mix

I bought a table from them, really excited to get away with the family. 2-3 days shipping. I allowed 5, should have been fine. On the day were supposed to leave it finally leaves their warehouse interstate. Now I understand things get delayed, but now I have to go and buy another one for the weekend. I ring and explain the situation. And their response...not really our problem, we had delays in our warehouse so it got held up (took 3 days to even leave the warehouse let alone arrive). I was told to if you want a return, you work out how to get it back to us at your cost, bad luck, go and read the T&Cs.
All it would have taken is a bit of understanding. Wanted to give you guys a go, ill go back to the big guys, who actually seem to care about their customers.

Yesterday they are running an eBay Promo for 10% Off and it literally $100 less.
Emailed customer service again and hope they can price-match the difference, but obviously, it is against their policy, and the answer is No.
I would suggest anyone buy from their Ebay store instead of from their own site.

I recently bought some boots online from snowys and unfortunately when they arrived they didn't fit well.
I remember thinking for an expensive pair of boots the shoe box is very flimsy.
Wish I had of taken a photo right there and then before I returned them because when I returned the perfect new condition boots they took money of me for the slightly squished box.
I understand that they have to resell the product but why is it fair that when I received the boots in the mail my shoebox was squished and ripped but they can't sell to another customer this way. Had I of taped the box to reinforce it they would have taken money of my refund aswell.
It was always going to be lose lose for me.
Also they sent me a photo of the shoe box when I requested it and the inner lining/wrapping of the box is hanging out and I know for sure I packed them perfectly giving snowys no reason at all not to give me a full refund, what's to say a team member didn't rip the already damaged box further, pulling the lid off in a hurry.
Honestly I can't believe this, I have never experienced this before.
I hope this is a warning for all snowys online customers to take photos of their item and the packaging before returning the product, just so you have a leg to stand on when they take money of your refund.

I bought a $1300 Engel Fridge Freezer from Snowys. I followed up 4 days after buying as it was sitting in the Brisbane Transport depot.
The last promised to follow up. I'd heard nothing back so followed up today, 8 days after order only to be told it was still at the depot.
If that is Snowys definition of follow-up service then I'll be sure to take my money elsewhere in the future.

Update: Ben, it took 4 days for your company to pick and despatch the order. It's now sat in your transport providers warehouse for 8 days. It's still there looking at the tracking scans today. Last night when I called them direct they told me they couldn't locate the item although clearly they are scanning something. So may I ask how it's going to get to me in Sydney today, well that's an April Fools Joke for sure. Ha ha good one!

Also, as someone from the transport industry, I can tell you the floods have not impacted southbound freight. The first 2 days the trucks swung over to the New England Highway, now they are back and running down the Pacific Highway. My families semi's have been to Brisbane and back many times over these past two weeks.

I purchased a gazebo and inner tent from Snowys. The Gazebo arrived in good time. The inner tent was delayed due to supply issues but I was kept informed on it's progress and it arrived in a reasonable time. I have dealt with Snowys in the past, and on each occasion I was pleased with their service.

Always found Snowy's (we shop at Brendale) to be excellent and even more so when they stepped in, after Sea to Summit failed to deliver. We purchased some Sea to Summit saucepans from them which had a design problem. Not Snowys fault, so I gave Sea to Summit some direct feedback as we were on the road. They asked for them to be returned direct to them (and not Snowys), which I did. Despite the false promises and false statements from Sea to Summit, we have not receive a refund after a staggering 4 months and do not even reply to me!
Today, with only absolute frustration, we contacted Snowy's. Hearing our saga, Nick refunded us immediately. Thank You Snowys, first class service!

I ordered a pair of walking boots online from Snowys. Firstly, the boots are just amazing and at a great price. Delivery was two days after I ordered and on a Saturday. Incredible. I am starting to train to walk the Camino de Santiago and if I don’t walk it in these boots it will be a new pair from Snowys. Can’t recommend them highly enough..... thanks...

Placed a $700 order with snowys and noted the order was urgent and needed it within a couple of weeks. I also phoned them after placing the order to ensure they got the order out quickly. The order was sent with Toll. Delivery was late by a day so I phoned Toll on Thursday in which they were completely useless but after spending over an hour on the phone with them I was told Snowys failed to put the address on the parcel which is why it failed to meet delivery on the Wednesday and Thursday. If I had not phoned and spent all that time on the phone the parcel would have been left at the depot for several days and fail to meet my delivery time requirement. I sent Snowys an email several days ago complaining but they have not bothered to respond to it.
