SNR have an advantage over most of the other North Devon roofing firms that I contacted and that is they answer the phone!, they then arrange to visit property and do a survey including drone use of the roof, they then give you a reasonable price, and when you agree that price with them agree a date and they actually then turn up on the day and do a good job. So my advice if you are looking to have your roof looked at make your first call to SNR

I couldn’t have received better treatment. They replied to my initial enquiry promptly. They put a drone up to assess. They diagnosed the problem and sent people out to fix it within days. All of the team were exceptionally polite and couldn’t have done more to help me. Thoroughly recommend.

I have reviewed SNR before on Google for a fibreglass flat roof. This time I am doing it on fixing another roofers roof that they couldn’t stop leaking.

To answer the obvious question first why did I not return to SNR roofing. Basically the lead time to get the job done was longer than I wanted my rental house to be empty. So when I obtained a comparative quote that was slightly less and the guy could get to me in two weeks as a builder had delayed his next job by a week in two weeks time I took the opportunity to get the work done. This “other” tradesman was found on one of the web trade-finders.

So after the job was done in November 2024 it rained and the roof leaked! Return the roofer and a product called roofmate (a silicone I believe) away he goes and the next rain a leak. This happened 4 times I then gave up and contacted Ryan at SNR they came out and along with their horror said the join to the wall was all wrong. They suggested removal of all the existing leadwork and installing new soakers and flashings.

I had to wait as you would understand but I can now assure you after the latest complete deluge of rain we had we are finally dry. If I stuck with Ryan and his lads I would have been able to get the property rented out in January or February rather than the May that it will now be.

So in summary sometimes being impatient costs more than waiting for the guys you know are able to exactly the job you want and that they will not do something that won’t work.

First found SNR whilst looking for reclaimed materials to complete a roofing job on an old farm building, very helpful staff and will go the extra mile to assist with what you need. Definitely a 5 star company and service.

I don't normally write reviews but I can't praise this company enough. From the friendly courteous office lady whom I phoned to Ryan who came out to assess my roof problem. He gave me an honest professional appraisal of the situation and rectified the roof problem there and then. He could not have been more helpful. He is a credit to the company. If I need any roof work done in the future it will be SNR Roofing I will hiring.
