I regret to be at a stage of writing reviews online but I’m completely out of options and therfore left with no other choice!
I used Andy at So Chic many years ago to design my lounge and was pleased with the results. However, This time it took me a while to decide, largely due to others having bad service and suggesting I stay away after poor recent experiences, however I ignored the negative feedback and decided to employ him for our interior design.
Worst decision I have ever made! The amount of issues we have had is absolutely unheard of.
Kitchen:
Our brand new kitchen looks old as the paint on the doors is falling off. The lights we specified never materialised, instead after months of complaining he tried to give us some kids lights bought from Amazon for £20, these were stick on with the wire going into my draw (which didn’t then shut) to operate!
This is STILL not fixed!
Lounge:
Having spent over £3500 on an Italian leather sofa, it arrived and..
A) all feet are not level on the ground! Andy’s first excuse was our floor was uneven but after proving it was even he then said it was because the middle foot was not screwed in properly blaming us once again for his issues!
B) the foam on the chaise is different to the rest of the sofa.
C) due to (b) the leather is bagging and looks awful!
I also purchased a sideboard at a cost of over £3000 which took months to arrive. When it finally did arrive he tried to charge me an additional £100 for delivery which we agreed was included. when it did eventually arrive it was damaged!
All of the above is STILL not replaced or fixed! This was 6 months ago!
Everything we purchased from So chic with the exception of the kitchen tiles has been a complete disaster!
Both myself and my husband have chased Andy several times and every single time we are given false promises and excuses
We have been extremely patient with him, but it’s now 6 months later and STILL nothing has been done or changed!
It’s a complete disgrace and has caused so many arguments between myself and my husband due to him being against the idea of hiring So chic interiors in the first place after hearing negative reviews.
How this company has a Royal Crest I don’t know and to treat customers in the way they have treated us is disgusting. We have spent thousands with So chic and unless things are resolved immediately we will be taking things further!
My advise is to stay away from this company at all costs!
