BEWARE!!! IT'S A FRAUD!!
About a year ago, we purchased a sofa from them and had an amazing experience both with the sofa itself and their customer care. We are moving and have decided to buy from them again due to our positive early experience. But now, it seems like everything has changed. No response from them, and the website cannot be accessed. I don't know what's happening, but they completely destroyed the good reputation of the trustworthy service we had. Initiating the CCPC process against them.
Not answering the phone
Not answering the phone. I placed an order on 7th of Feb and no contact from Sofa Galaxy at all. As per the other reviews, website is also down.
So scared now
So scared now. Put a deposit late January on a sofa, tb unit and shelving and they don’t answer the phone anymore, neither email, message or WhatsApp… website is down as well. It was my savings and now I’m afraid they’re gone and I lost my money.

It seems that sofa galaxy is closed down. They have not delivered my sofa, and since friday the store is closed, the website is out of the air, and the phone is disconected.

Fancy and confortable sofa
ļThis is the second time I’m purchasing from Sofa Galaxy, and bouth experiences had been fantastic. The quality of their furniture is excellent,the sofa i bought is fancy and confortable, and their customer service is top,fast delivery,fast assembling,they took pakaging with them after they finish assembling. Wrong sofa delivered looking for €500 more for sofa ordered in when it's still the original price on there website
I ordered an L-shaped sofa, and instead, a 2-seater sofa was delivered to me. I was then informed that the sofa I originally ordered was not in stock and was advised to choose a different one from their website. However, the sofa I ordered was still listed on their website as being in stock.
I contacted the staff member I had been dealing with to let him know, and he continued to insist it was unavailable and sent me pictures of other sofas, none of which I liked. I then asked if I could simply order the original sofa I wanted and wait the 14-week lead time. I also asked if it could be ordered in a different colour.
I sent him a photo of the colour I wanted (the darker grey Siesta, which is on their Facebook page but incorrectly labelled as “Soho Big”). I explained that it was mislabeled online, as my mother actually has the Soho Big which she bought from this company last year , and I didn’t want to end up with the wrong sofa again.
He told me that ordering the Siesta would cost an additional €500 on top of the price I was originally quoted when it is still on there website for the price I originally bought it at . I explained that I would not be paying extra for the exact same sofa I had already ordered at the agreed price. I stated that I would either be paying the original quoted price or taking my business elsewhere. At that point, he hung up the phone on me.
I then sent the company information regarding my legal right to receive the product at the agreed price. He replied saying he would send back my deposit.
Two days later, I received a message stating that he went to process the refund, but because I “paid in cash,” I would need to drive to the warehouse to collect it. I responded to explain that I paid the deposit by card, not cash. I was planning to pay the balance in cash on delivery. He then replied saying it was a mistake and that the refund had now been processed.
I drove nearly two hours to their warehouse to choose the sofa, and after all of this, I am left with nothing but issues. I have just moved into a new home, and trying to settle in close to Christmas is stressful enough without the added difficulty of dealing with this situation. Overall, this has been an extremely unprofessional experience.
