Sold us licenses for a different product than the one we had, and didn't tell us...and are poor middle-men for Symantec technical support...poor because they don't understand the product and change the language that describes the problem, so Symantec doesn't get the real explanation. A pointless company, that did save us money when purchasing the licenses, but provide no value beyond that and made our lives more difficult. Will never give them our business again.

I recently found a new shotgun microphone sold through softmart's website. Little did I know they were going to have a case of false advertising take hold of me. I did not receive a microphone but rather a pair of headphones. When I asked for the product I had ordered they told me they were going to charge more for me to receive it. If you want to be given the run around and get some good old fashioned false advertisement and poor service be my guest and order from softmart.

well. they got a wrong phone number for my order, so they never sent it, and never thought of sending me an email to let me know there was a problem. I had to contact them after more than 2 weeks.
If I could put a 0 star rating , I would.
They are stupid because they do not allow you to ship your order to a an address that is not your billing address. So, if you're trying to ship a gift, don't even bother trying to order through their website.
They are just incompetent, not polite on the phone, and could not understand the problem of allowing only you to ship things to your billing address ....
