Soho Boutique Turia Valencia ruined our trip

We did reserve at Soho Boutique Turia in Valencia for 5-6 of November this year via Booking.com. We did plan to attend the Superbike race Moto GP in Valencia that weekend. We did our reservation well in time since we expect busy times for the hotels in Valencia the weekend of the race's. Now they just cancelled our reservations stating that the hotel is under renovation. But on their website they state that they will fully open on the 28 of October. They offer no compensation to us and now prices has more than doubled for similar hotels, so we will have to cancel our trip because of all this. Be very careful reserving at Soho Boutique Hotels, they can cancel your reservation at any moment without giving any compensation and this can ruin you trip like it has done to us.

We do have an update: After communicating with the hotel several time they finally re instated our booking so for now we are ok.
