They present themselves as Solar Model but my contract and payment were made to JRM Solar (Torrevieja) — be careful with the name confusion.
I paid €3,483 upfront for a solar installation after a home visit from their salesperson. I flew from Ireland to Spain for the agreed installation date, only to be told at the last minute that it was cancelled. No alternative date was given.
I requested a refund. They confirmed in writing that they owe me the money and promised payment on 26/02. Today: no refund, no replies, calls ignored, and the salesperson says he no longer works for them and is also owed money.
Very worrying behaviour.
I am still waiting for my €3,483 and will be taking further action.
Proceed with extreme caution — especially if asked to pay upfront.
