Excellent efficient service with excellent back up response

I found the whole team at Solar Plant to be excellent. I am also very happy with the increased performance of the solar panel system.

To anyone going through the difficult process of choosing a reliable solar energy and storage installation supplier I can highly recommend SolarPlants. It’s a big investment and you want to identify the right company to deal with. SolarPlants stood out when I did my research and I am delighted to say that they have delivered on my expectations.
From the initial meetings at The National Self Build & Renovation Centre, I have been very happy with the sales process, product quality, price, reliability, well-structured delivery process and customer service.
From the short interactions since my installation, my experience is that this company really cares about its customers and have always gone out of their way to meet my requirements.

He explained everything very clearly and told me about other services too but did not push When I said I was not interested. They have put all the problems right with our solar panel installation done by another company. We now have peace of mind that the future of the panels and equipment is good. We have been able to keep an eye on what the panels are producing when we were away in America. It is truly amazing!

My "Solar PLants" experience to-date:
My system was upgraded on the 4th December 2017 with a new Solar Edge Inverter and 12 Solar Edge Optimizers.
I was impressed and satisfied with the whole installation procedure.
I am monitoring my system on a regular basis via the App provided and I am hopeful that the benefit I was assured of will will materialize when I make a 12 month comparison with my old previous situation.
I look forward to a positive result and aim to give a further review after the 12 month period has elapsed!

Solar Plants up-graded our panels by installing Solar Edge technology. It has been an excellent experience from marketing through installation to completion. We were delighted that every step was precise and clear.

When we wanted a ground mounted installation for our off grid property, Solar Plants gave us confidence from the moment we spoke to them. Our initial contact was with the specialist off grid department rather than a sales person, so we had expert advice from the start. The quote was clear (and competitive), and there were no hidden extras. Ian and Scott were with us for 5 days to install the panels, and were hard working and happy to answer any questions. We were given clear handover instructions, and have received good follow up support. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Solar Plants!

I would recommend Solar Plants Ltd excellent company, very helpful, very reliable from start to finish. Had an up-grade fitted all planed out, explained all the benefits, the increase of generation is far superior than expected over the last 4 weeks. The up-grade was done in a day, they cleaned up after, explained everything in detail

The member of staff who came to visit me explained everything really clearly and I felt properly informed.
The installation was quick and simple and no rubbish left behind. It is clear that the panels are working better in their new formation.
I had done some research into my photo-voltaic cells and the price I paid for freedom of mind for the next twenty five years was reasonable though a bit frightening at the time.

I would recommend Solar Plants, they did excellent work upgrading our existing solar panel installation. They were clean, efficient and work hard to complete the job. We can now see exactly how the panels are performing regarding the output of power being generated. Thank you.

extremly good to explain the technowlogy show you and set up it on the computer and generally tidy workmanship polite and efficient would tell any one who was interested to go to you for enquiries

* Update Just read the reviews below - out of business! So they spent months and months lying to people beforehand rather than show a bit of integrity and being honest with their customers. I hope it was worth it, you lovely people!

So it's now about a year since one of my solar panels stopped showing as producing electricity. Solar Plants are contracted to monitor and investigate any issues - I paid money to have this service - great for them when everything is working well as it's money for nothing. The true test of a company is what they do when the money's been paid and then, later, you come back to them with an issue that is still covered. I'm covered for somewhere around the next 8 years or more (I think it's actually around 18 years but don't want to be incorrect so 8 years will do!).

The first time (and only time) that an issue occurred was January last year. I contacted Solar Plants and an appointment was made - for months later. Hardly speedy customer service but at least they were responding to the issue.

Closer to the time I received a phone call telling me that they were having issues with delivery systems/parts and so couldn't honour the appointment but that they would get back to me with a new appointment. I didn't need any spare parts at that time - I needed someone to honour the contract and come and investigate a potential issue and find out what was going on!

After a couple of months, I phoned them again - same story, with a promise they'd be in touch. A couple more months, no phone calls and so I called them again. same story, "We're so sorry, we will arrange something for you."

And so here we are, I've also emailed with absolutely no response; they haven't delivered on the promised phone calls back or an appointment! I am now going to start taking Solar Plants to the Small Claims court - it's a right pain but I'm losing money because of this solar panel not working and that's not right or fair since I've paid good money for them to ensure that it's working correctly.

Ask yourself this question - are you willing to gamble that what you will buy from Solar Plants will work as expected for the life of its warranty? If you are then go for it. If you expect Solar Plants to honour their promises to support and maintain their products/services then please be warned; my experience shows that they don't if they feel that they can get away with it.

* Update: Since leaving my review I have to confess that Solar Plants have been amazing; they almost immediately tried to contact me via email and phone to move the installation process along and have been most apologetic and have gone further than that to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I realise that this could be lip-service but, from their communications, I honestly believe that they are sincere in what they are saying and that they are genuinely disappointed about how I feel and want to improve systems so that this doesn't happen again. I don't think I've ever had such a turn-around of how I feel about a company before; it's almost as if I'm now more of a fan of Solar Plants than I obviously was when I choose them for our Tesla battery installation!
I will edit my review to reflect the process when everything has been completed but I have to take my hat off to Solar Plants at this moment in time because I'm due for installation in a couple of weeks and am feeling really good about things which is a long way from where I was a couple of days ago. :)

Mixed feelings about Solar Plants - I will update this review as and when I finish the process of installing a Tesla Battery.
At present, I'm waiting for a reply to my emails or message left on their website requesting information about my installation date. Given that I'm paying thousands for this service, you would expect them to be a little more proactive; I had to email them to get a surveyor round and now find myself badgering them to find out when the installation will actually take place.
Like many private companies, it seems they are more interested in spending time getting new customers than in actually fulfilling their obligations to those whose money is already in their pocket!
I will update as and when the process moves forward. (Thinking positively!) *Solar Plants' actions since I posted this have proved that they do care so I no longer feel that this statement reflects how the company treats its customers.

We have just had our solar panels upgraded. Everyone we have dealt with has been very professional and efficient from Andy who came out to explain the system to us to Mike and Jamie who completed the upgrade. We have yet to see the results of the upgrade but are looking forward to more efficient solar panels.
