Great company to work with. Kamil and his team are always doing a great and tidy job. We habe had an ASHP installed a few years ago and solar PV a few years after, and we already contracted Solum to add more panels and a battery to our new extension. The very compatatice prices combined with good craftmanship is why we always come back

Solum GB have been excellent throughout. I had an existing solar installation and was looking to expand, especially as the previous installer had not impressed (either with the product or customer service).

This is the 3rd time that the company have come to service my ASHP. Every time they have turned up when arranged, done exactly as they said they would and most importantly for me as a customer been very clear as to the cost before and fully explained what will be needed.

I have the utmost faith in the engineers abilities to carry out the task and the communication from the office and the engineers is always first rate.

When we had a breakdown a few years ago in December they came out as an emergency, found the fault and got the new part ordered, fitted and working before Christmas, so we had heating.

Solum GB installed my Midea air source heat pump in October 2021 and have serviced it each year since then. It's been working pretty well throughout the year, although I had noticed some leakage of the glycol/water mix at the hot water tank in my loft and from a couple of joints going to the tank. Solum's agent identified that the screw caps on 2 the air release valves on the tank were loose so he tightened them. He also tightened the pipe joints, which had very small amounts of leakage.
The agent also added some biocide to the radiator circuit, which is a new requirement from 2025.

We had them install our heat-pump and they have been here annually to carry out its service. They always communicate well and do what they say.
The site-staff work cleanly and efficiently. They are polite and helpful.
Their office and administration is excellent.

Solum Gb installed my heat pump boiler and solar panels when my house was built and have provided excellent maintenance ever since. The staff, both in the office and on-site, are consistently polite and friendly. Their service is highly efficient, offering honest advice without the pressure of extra sales I experienced with my previous boiler services. The one time I forgot to book a service, they managed to fit me in ASAP. I would happily recommend Solum Gb to anyone looking for an install or service.

Setting up - Solum GB was very clear about what the ASHP could do, how it would work and how they would fit it. They completed the job in the time stated, were very clean, efficient and friendly. This was August 2020.
From the start we have had no problems with the installation. It does what they said it would do.
Ongoing checking - this has been regular, on time and without problems.
Their Head Office staff are on the ball.

I fell into bad hands initially, but Solum rescued us - and installed an Air Source Heat Pump, and associated kit, tanks etc at a reasonable price. Ongoing good service is an absolute need for this rather complex equipment - and they are very good at that. So I also asked them to install a Solar Panel Array, inverter and so on. The supplied inverter failed after a year or so (not Solum GB's fault), and the replacement was installed at no cost, efficiently under the warranty. I recommend!

This was as new Air Source Heat Pump Installation.
The installation was very well done, even down to providing replacement heaters while we were without the central heating for a few days.
The installers were vey clean and tidy and overall did a very professional job.

I'd give these guys six stars if I could! From Iain's advice when I first contacted them, ongoing help from Karolina and Luke in the office, through to installation by Kamil and his team, they've all been incredibly helpful, efficient, and professional throughout. And I'm absolutely delighted with the new heat pump and radiators, which have been fitted so beautifully and worked perfectly from day one. Most importantly, our house is now lovely and warm even when it's below zero outside, and this in a concrete 1950s house which many said wouldn't be suitable for a heat pump. Choosing a heat pump and Solum GB to fit it has definitely been one of the best decisions I've made. Thank you!

Solum GB did an excellent job installing my Air Source Heat Pump in October 2021 and have serviced it for the last 3 years, although they have not increased the price, which is pleasantly surprising given the recent high inflation! I had reported a slight problem a couple of months before the service, which related to the domestic hot water not quite reaching 55 degrees C; it would only get to 52 or 53 degrees. I am not sure what they did during the service but it now gets to 55 or even 56 degrees. I am very happy and will continue to use Solum GB for the annual service.

We were really pleased with our Samsung R290 installation. Solum GB are very reliable and efficient companty. Despite the fact that they are servicing a relatively wide geographical area they ensure they honour their appointments. I only wish other tradespeople working on our major renovation could have been as good. Kamil's installation was neat and tidy and he left me with confidence that, what was completely new technology to me, would work. And it does. The support from Karolina in the office and the other installers and electricians, was invaluable. A great job and I shall be returning to Solum GB for my servicing. Thank you

Solum GB installed our heat pump as a third party for the company we commissioned the work with. I had a number of warranty issues and where the company who we gave the work to messed us around and made us wait with no heating for 3 weeks with 2 small kids. I Spoke to SolumGB and they were so helpful and sorted out the problems with LG and got it replaced for us with no fuss. I would recommend them highly as they were great to work with.

Without a shadow of doubt I would highly recommend Solum Gb.

This the Second Time, I have had a full heating installation of all the radiators in the house and an Air source Heat Pump completed/installed in my house, by Solum GB.

The first ASHP was in the property that I sold when I moved house last year and this is the second installation of an ASHP and whole new heating system that Solum GB have carried out for me in my new home.

A full Heat Loss Survey was carried out on both occasions prior to both installations of the Air Source Heat Pumps, as this lets us know which radiators need replacing.
The radiators that need replacing are further confirmed in writing.

Solum GB are the ONLY Company that I would trust to carry out such a huge reinstall of a whole new heating system and Air Source Heat Pump.

The whole process on both occasions was smooth and trouble free from start to finish with every question answered.
