The Excel based applications of frontline are the most user friendly way to deal with MC-Simulations, Operations Research and Data-Mining.

I have been using Solver Pro for over 15 years. Support is excellent, performance is consistent and results are repeatable.

Excel can become unstable.
Many times i have to remove the Frontline add-in from excel to improve stability. I use the add-in about 2 or 3 days a month so this is not something that is all the big a deal. If i leave it installed i have more issues with excel freezing up or stalling and generally i dump the add-in.

The installation and annual update process was greatly improved.

Excellent all around, and excellent technical support.

They provide a huge boost to what can be done with Excel and other mainstream languages in doing data analysis and simulation!

Frontline Systems has provided excellent support whenever I have had a problem. I recommend them and their products highly.

I received timely and competent help when completing each of the 101 courses at Solver Academy.

It needs some improvement to save .lp model. Some of the large models are not saved. It will be nice if it can track infeasible constraints the same as Gurobi.

I also like to be able to import and export constraints from one model to another one. Such as selecting some constraints and import them in another model (in another Excel sheet).

Product, Service and Support are all excellent.

Your product ir really excelent, and the attitude on serving the customer is the best. Whatever, some points to improve:

1) I think that it would be ideal you define a Single Point of Contact, I'd had to receive and send mails to at least four persons last months.

2) When I add rows to my linear programming model, I have to go to constraints menu to update the ranges instead Solver do it automatically.

Frontline tools exactly suit our needs. In fact, thanks to Frontline, we have developed a huge competitve advantage over our comptetitors. A pretty good part of our business development is based upon our tools bieng connected to Frontline's.
