At Soundcould

At Soundcould for Artists, the customer service is down. They supposedly guarantee fast service and constant contact, but they do not respond to tickets addressed to them and the bot has stopped working.

DONT BOTHER PAYING FOR ARTIST SERVICES ON THIS PLATFORM THERE IS NO SERVICE ITS A SCAM

Constant issues with uploading tracks for distribution and monetisation.

Their customer service is non-existent, the chat bot isn’t even acknowledging my questions any more. The one time they did respond it didn’t help fix the problem at all.

My tracks keep getting rejected cause they don’t like my cover art and say its not the same as the track details, but their system has locked the track name into the album name and there is no way to change it. The information link it gives says you change it in the track editing but there is not way to edit the album name.

This is really stupid. Then when i try to distribute another track it tells me I can’t do it because I don’t have any approved tracks. But then it’s impossible to get approved and there is no customer service.

Soundcloud will rip you off

Soundcloud will rip you off, do not use their artists program, release day, and no track on SoundCloud, multiple issues uploading original work to be told it is not original, no human contact just a bot that is the worst you will come across, they will just take your money for a zero service and multiple issues! the joke is that they are using a sample tune for their adverts on youtube, they are just ripping of their customer avoid this company they will just waste your time and money

Customer Service - What a JOKE!!!

Customer Service inexistent; A robot boot that creates a ticket service for you only to receive, after 10 days ,the following email: "Hey there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us at SoundCloud.
We’d like to inform you that at the moment we’re experiencing a higher than usual number of requests that unfortunately is preventing us from responding as quickly as we’d like to - we apologize for the inconvenience.
If your matter has been resolved in the meantime, please consider this ticket as closed.
If you still need help with your request, please reply to this email and we’ll be happy to get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that this may still take a while.

We Give SoundCloud an A for a Good Job

One of the few good "big tech" experiences that we as a small business have had is with SoundCloud. We use SoundCloud for our daily podcasts and they are reliable and efficient and fairly priced. We have averaged only one problem a year using their service (and we use it almost daily to upload podcasts for four years now). These problems are server-side issues that always seems to resolve in an hour or so. I like their no-hassle way of doing business. Using their platform is seamless for us and our Subscribers.

let down by Soundcloud

I was subscribed to Soundcloud as an artist paying a Monthly fee Soundcloud promise to promote your music if you join there Artist Pro Subscription however after joining I noticed my views likes etc where actually a lot less then before I subscribed friends told me they could not find me on the Soundcloud search bar all in all not a good experience and I would say to anyone joining think hard before parting with your money

They are not playing the game with free plan

It is quite a well-built plateform from the digital space point of view.

Apart from that, they offer a "free" plan, but they are not playing the game. The content (180 minutes) that you will put here won't really be listened (or what I produce is really awful).

Thus I'm reluctant to go for the charged plan, even if it is reasonnable price. I've asked them a question one month ago and I still have no answer.

The only benefit I can get from this site is to provide a repository thaving a simple seach URL to share with my friends.

I'm looking for something fairer and more serious ...

I was blind and didn’t look for reviews before I pay for artists pro pack. Worst mistake ever. You pay just to have music released on their own platform. If you want to distribute don’t bother it’s pain in the a$$ and you will never be able to se your music out there. It is only a bot company no human to speak. I wish I could be able to do something to get my money back…….. Soundcloud if by any chance a human from your company sees this……….🖕

Terrible Customer Support – Over a Month Without Help

I’ve been trying to get in touch with SoundCloud Support for over a month regarding a simple request to change my billing cycle from yearly to monthly (Ticket #3324461), and I have yet to receive a real response.

At first, I was told they were experiencing high volumes of requests, which I understood. But after weeks of waiting and multiple follow-ups, I only received automated responses telling me to use their Help Center – which is useless when their chatbot won’t even respond.

I even tried reaching out through different channels, and nothing. At this point, it feels like SoundCloud doesn’t care about its paying users. If they’re going to offer subscriptions, they should at least have a functional support system for billing issues.

This experience has made me reconsider my subscription, and I would not recommend SoundCloud to anyone who expects real customer service. Fix your support system!

Soundcloud Artist Pro subscription

Soundcloud Artist Pro subscription.
My experience has been as follows.
Zero support from humans.
Talking to Bots with no resolve.
Nothing but Bot account interactions.
No real account streams.
Getting stopped on Copyright issues when you are the original artist and using royalty free samples.
Absolute waste of time and money.
I want a full refund of my Artist Pro subscription and I will be escalating this to the Australian government to investigate.
Ripping off artist and listeners.
Please do not use this platform.
It is 💯 scam.

I will be making YouTube videos in the near future to ensure others do not have the same experience as myself.

3 times my songs have been disabled on…

3 times my songs have been disabled on SoundCloud due to copyright because the song was previously created by.... ME !.
I have filed a copyright claim but they don't bother to answer me. I respect they are protecting us composers BUT they need to take people into this automation and correct their errors. Read this.

The music part of the site is good but everything else sucks

The music part of the site is good, but as an artist with a paid subscription there seems to be zero support for all the issues you encounter o_O wtf dude

And on top of that the takedown of one of my distributions/releases has been declined and now I can't request another takedown... this shit can't be legal!

EDIT: After a month I finally received support for some of my issues. Takes forever, but at least the support team is existent. So changing my review from 1 to 2 stars

False Copyright Claim

As a young, independent artist, I joined SoundCloud with the hope of sharing my original creations and connecting with a wider audience. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from welcoming due to your third-party copyright detection system.

It’s frustrating to have my original work flagged incorrectly as copyrighted material, especially when I’ve worked hard to ensure it’s entirely unique. Requiring sensitive information like a full name, address, and a signature to dispute these claims adds unnecessary stress and makes your platform feel less safe for younger creators like me.

I’m deeply disappointed that a platform built for artists fails to protect us from these false claims. Instead of fostering creativity, your system stifles it. If changes aren’t made to streamline the dispute process and eliminate overreliance on automated systems, I won’t be the only artist walking away.

A really horrible platform, especially for those one’s putting their heart into their music, since they get false copyright claimed, flagged and get their song removed.

I have been with them for YEARS, its not worth money

I have been with them for YEARS. thought I would finally try the Pro package and paid them 100 bucks attempted to distribute music on all the platforms its been several months and Shazam still won't acknowledge my music and the only 2 songs showing have been up there from 5-6 years ago. They also added a 2 factor verification when I paid them and I cannot log in, been trying for 2 weeks but not once have I been replied to by a human. still cant access my paid account... PRO IS NOT WORTH ANY AMOUNT of money
