Normally I'd say no one gets 5 stars on principle but really there's nothing not to like here. I ordered a pair of Shimano brake calibers on Tuesday and they arrived today, two days later well packed and in perfect condition. The price was quite reasonable as well and good communication too. What more can you ask, definitely five stars and, no, I don't work there.

I have only used Spa Cycles a few times so far, mainly because their prices are very good. However, I recently had trouble with a leather saddle that I purchased from them. It was a saddle issue not a Spa Cycle issue. Nevertheless, their customer service was excellent they sorted the issue for me very quickly and sent me a new saddle. I would say they are a company to trust.

I bought a saddle from Spa Cycles that turned out not to be suitable. After emailing twice without receiving a reply, I called the store to arrange a return. The response I received over the phone was extremely hostile, with the person swearing at me and being dismissive. They stated it was “up to them” whether a refund would be issued.

I’ve spent thousands of pounds with Spa over the years, including on several bikes, and have always been satisfied — until now. Unfortunately, this experience was one of the worst I’ve had as a customer. As soon as there was a problem with an order, the customer service was unacceptable.

There are many other specialist bike shops that offer professional and respectful service, and I would recommend using them instead. I returned the saddle, and my bank refunded me directly. Sadly, I will not be using this company again.

Ordered a tyre in the wrong size, asked to cancel the order, expecting a refund, 4 5 days later still nothing, emails sent and he is refusing to send a refund, poor service, i do not recommend

Returned to a trusted store in Spa Cycles to upgrade a front wheel for my commuter bike.Online custom wheel build was simple to use,superb range of trusted high quality components.Wheel was built really quick and packaged across to Northern Ireland super fast. Absolute gem of a store. The highest quality wheels built with care and attention to detail.Thanks again Spa Cycles.Legends💪

I was just about to set out on a month long cycle tour of Albania and North Macedonia when it became evident that my old Dawes Super Galaxy bike was in desperate need of some urgent TLC.
Ben, one of Spa Cycles mechanics, worked on my steed and I am pleased to report that he got it riding like it was new out of the box despite it being a 28 year old!
Ben certainly knows his stuff and his attention to detail and general level of customer service was first class!
I will definitely be using this shop again in the future and will happily recommend it to my cycling friends.

Having ordered a custom made wheelset from Spa Cycles I was in need of some straightforward advice. They would not discuss this on the phone as they were too busy and despite multiple promises to the contrary have never replied to any email I have sent. I eventually gave up trying to contact them.

Brilliant customer service. Mistakenly ordered wrong part which arrived via rerurn of post. I returned it and was refunded two days later.

Excellent shop. Really good build of bike. Really like the reasonably priced titanium frame. Purchase more stuff since and all arrived in good time.

Faultless experience. Bought 2 tyres, great price, rapid delivery. Would recommend to anyone.

I only feel compelled to bother writing a review if the service is really abysmal, or utterly superb.
This is the latter.
I ordered four items, and to my surprise they arrived the following day with free delivery, all present and correct.
Nothing negative to say even if I tried.

It's a year since I purchases a Spa TI tourer. It has given nothing but great pleasure and fun. I have had not a single mechanical issue and have only changed to Noodles to an adjustable type. My only regret is I should have made the purchase long ago.
Service from Spa continues to be excellent.

I bought a saddle online recently being confident it would suit me.When I received it I realised it would be too flexible for me. Spa cycles were able to accept my return and issued a refund, which I was very grateful for.

That John bloke - see other reviews - apparently the owner - was very irritated when I enquired over the phone about whether a saddlebag QR system was in stock (it's an hour drive to the shop). I collected the item same day, but when went to fit it the wrong diameter clips had been supplied after explicitly stipulating large diameter clips! The person serving me said I hadn't asked for large diameter clips. No apology, nothing, treated me like as an irritation to his "busy" day. Will never use again, rude, arrogant with a bad attitude.

Been buying things every now and then from Spa for over 20 years. Always keen prices and the best source for real world, non flash in the pan bike components and accessories. Great range of touring kit. Had a small issue with a recent purchase and got a same day email replay and they were able to assist, no problem. Hope to still be bying from them in another 20 years time!

I've been using Spa Cycles for decades, I've had several wheels built by them and I always buy my tyres from them. Never had anything but five star service.

I've also bought several saddles and assorted controls. My experience is that if Spa Cycles stock an item then it must be good, I often use their website for recommendations.

Visited Spa Cycles the end of last year as I had read a good review of their audax bike. Spoke with a member of the team for almost 40 mins outlining the kind of bike I wanted and what he would recommend. In my opinion his advice was spot-on and his suggestions very helpful. I put a deposit down that day for a Spa Elan - Hope Edition. Whilst waiting for the frame to be delivered to the shop I was kept in the loop on where it was and the likely arrival time. I was also given a spec sheet and asked to review the information to make sure it was correct. I had a couple of questions which I sent in via email. the response was helpful and quick. I was given a further spec sheet nearer the build time with a little more detail. It was perfect.

I took delivery of the bike last month and can't fault it. It rides smoothly, feels very comfortable and fits perfectly (size was confirmed via email not a bike fit, but Spa's suggestion is bang on!) I can't recommend this shop highly enough. From start to finish my experience has been a good one, with the team being informed and professional throughout. And the bike....absolutely fantastic. Steel is real!

Excellent mail order service from what must be the best specialist cycle touring store in the North. Their range of Stronglight cranksets is second to none. Many thanks Spa!

Just picked up a "Rove" touring bike. I visited the shop to place the order and wanted some additional alterations to the standard spec the staff could not have been more helpful. I was also able to test ride a bike before placing an order. The service and attention to detail was great.
