The reservation process was easy
The reservation process was easy. The representative who I spoke with on the phone 7/2/26 was very informative and willing to assist me in whatever my goals were in renting a storage unit at the selected facility.

Nothing but unsolved problems
I was supposed to move in June 26. I receive an email that my unit is ready and I should call & set up an appointment for access. The next email, back to back is my rent would be increase the next month over $100. I attempted to call regarding this and was on the phone forever. I was instructed "upper management" will send me an email that I still have not received. Then I receive an email fir insurance coverage. I have to contact them again stating they had not provided or asked for my proof which I have. I sent it to them and they say it expired. On the coverage it expires 04/27. I still have not been refunded my $12.

SpareFoot connected me with a Storage Facility near my home called StorageMart.
I am concerned that Spare Foot and StorageMart are going to find themselves in legal trouble.
SpareFoot connected me with a Storage Facility near my home called StorageMart.
Spare Foot gave me the following information:
The cost was $29/month for a 5' x 6' x 8' unit.
I was offered a 50% discount for the first 3 months.
So, $15/month for 3 months, then $29/month.
The Facility that Spare Foot arranged for me told me that they would provide an additional 25% discount for the first month and waive the insurance fee if I paid by credit card.
After I gave my credit card to the Facility that Spare Foot arranged for me, I was told that the "unit" I rented was actually a "locker" that I would be able to access by climbing stairs! The "locker" size is 5' x 6' x 4'!
The actual cost of the storage unit, 5' x 6' x 8', is $79/month, NOT $29/month. The discount for 3 months is 25%, NOT 50%. There is NO insurance waiver, it is an additional mandatory $24.99/month for insurance.
StorageMart has my credit card information!
I don't know if this is SpareFoot's scam, StorageMart's scam, or a collaborative scam.
