Totally appalling

Totally appalling. They were so eager to give me 2 long assessments and I didn't get any call back. I emailed the person I talked to, tried to ring on both numbers, left a voicemail, and they still didn't bother to get in touch. Before accepting I did not look on any reviews but now, after looking them up I realise I haven't lost anything. Stay away of them.

Dishonest company with zero empathy and no support — worst experience of my career

I joined Sparta Global after being told from day one that we would be placed on a Home Office project. There were many of us selected — some people couldn’t even attend the training — yet Sparta still kept them and continued as if everything was fine.

We went through two months of very intense training. We were told that we’d be “off-tested” for different roles and given opportunities based on our performance. That turned out to be completely false. They made me work extremely hard, gave me extra work compared to others, and then refused to give me my graduation certificate even though I completed all the required tasks.

I was also going through severe mental health challenges — depression and anxiety — and I openly informed my trainer. Despite that, I received absolutely no support or understanding from the company. There was no compassion, no flexibility, and no real concern for my wellbeing.

To make things worse, they fired me without a valid reason, claiming they couldn’t find me a client — even though I had completed everything they asked for. I even had an interview scheduled to present my work, but the day before, they suddenly terminated my contract, gave me one week’s notice, and blocked my email and HR access immediately after.

This was after I had sacrificed another graduate role that was secured for me months before joining Sparta, just so I could commit to their program. In the end, they used me, made me work for extra weeks with false promises, and then tossed me aside.

I honestly regret ever joining Sparta Global. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and have no respect for the people who put their trust in them. Avoid this company at all costs.

Scammers

They're a training provider, not an employer, and while the training is paid, it's extremely low-quality. Don't waste your time.

Poor and pathetic communication

Poor and pathetic communication. I have left several messages with reception staff to speak to certain members of staff. No call back, no email. I had an urgent query but nobody bothered to call back. Sparta are very slack, unprofessional and pathetic. I applied for several roles they advertised and needed to speak to Matt Gardner. The reception staff are crude and unprofessional.

Very Unprofessional

After spending considerable time going through their application process, they basically forget about you without providing any updates on your application. When I finally managed to speak with one of their agents, they said, "You should assume you didn’t get the role"!!!

If the recruitment process is like this imagine how is to work with them.

Poor Communication

Things started very well. I had a quick response following my initial application and passed the telephone interview and assessment stage. I was told that I would receive a call on 3rd January, 11:30 to arrange a final interview. That time came, nothing. I contacted the office to confirm the date and time and they said they would pass the message on to the consultant. I followed up with an email to the consultant, no response. They've left me with a very bad impression.

Bad Communication

I had a decent telephone interview after applying for a job with Sparta and was told to express my interest which I did via email after the call had ended.
I received no reply so I sent several follow up emails and phone calls to the Sparta coordinator who I spoke with and to Sparta global but no one had gotten back to me. The role probably isn't available anymore and I wasn't given the chance to take my application further for it since no one responded to my queries.
I don't know what's going on over there but I feel messed around by the experience.
I'm not the type to bother leaving negative reviews like this but for a company that claims to help entry-level people get their foot in the door in Tech/IT they haven't been very helpful.
