Memorial Headstone
Memorial was sent away to have additional inscription added, my request was to have lead letters pinned into the marble to match the other side of the pray book. Payment was made, pray book was collected so work could begin. Weeks, led into months and I didn't hear anything with constant email, phones, letters, visit to office and nothing. Then almost 1 year later after collecting the memorial I received an email to say the book was damaged and it was to be relaced because the letter cutter had messed up the pray book and the font was all wrong and that the only way forward was for the company to provide me with a brand new memorial which they did but that took months and months with contact reminder and being ignored once again. Then finally I received a message to say memorial was ready and going to be installed, finally I thought I could move on with me live. Upon checking the memorial all seemed to be okay. Then less then 1 year later the letters started to fall out, I challenged the company and was told lead paint was used at the cutters judgement which I didn't pay for and was not aware of. By the end of this year if not before all the letters would have fallen out. This company had more then one chance to put things right, they didn't. I requested a full refund for the pray book and inscriptions on both sides, they told me all they would refund is not even half the cost which I declined. The pray book has also come away from the base, when I informed the company of this he said it must have been vandalised as this had never happed before with anyone else and implied this was me that had caused the damage. This company are unprofessional, no ethics to CUSTOMERS, lack of interest and skill. Workmanship is of very, very poor quality. I would not recommend anyone using this company. Don't take anything that they promise will be supplied. For me I have received nothing but errors and problems from the very beginning, have paid a lot of money for the memorial and nothing has been resolved apart from upset and anxiety on my side. I have had to go and purchase a brand new memorial and start from scratch once more with another company and paying another amount of money due to this company not being able to provide workmanship. He won't comprise he has to be right. I am the one with the loss of a family member and the money I have paid to him. He should not be allowed to trade in my option. Anyone thinking of using this company please don't, pay the extra and go to a reputable funeral directors. This company does not deserve 1 star but there is no choice for me to give anything else. I really hope this review helps other folk in making a decision.
