Greed over morality

When you go looking at a used car that is to be fair listed to have been a repaired Cat S or N and the person selling the car and his mates "Speed Motors Rochdale" had "repaired" the damage.

As I was walking around the car he was following me closely to the point I could feel his breath on my neck (alarm bells), He showed me photos of it having its bumper and rear quarter on the driver side sprayed.

Being the disbeliever that I am turned into a crime scene investigation and asked about the crumple zone to which he responded "I'm not sure but it's ok all damage gone and repaired it was just the bumper", so I removed the boot liner and checked the internal body work and found it all cracked and warped before getting under the car and checking what damage was underneath... The crumple zone was completely destroyed and he denied there being anything wrong with the car until I took a photo and showed him.

He then tried selling us a different car also a cat s so we said no going off the state of the first one, thanked him for his time anyway and left.

It just goes to show, Do your own investigations and take nothing as granted as this bloke was happy to sell this car to a family with a child less than 2 years old... Greed over morality and it boils my pee..

I purchased a Skoda fabia from mo…

I purchased a Skoda fabia from mo Younz. At the time Of sale he was very pleasant. Soon as I drive the car it stopped working after an hour. I contacted him and enquired why this happened. mo younz refused a refund. I believe they sell stolen cars from a dear source. I would not recommend speed motors. Cheap man with cheap mindset!

Purchased a 2019 Honda jazz of this person. Really friendly, helpful and honest about the vehicle. Told me everything I needed to know about the vehicle over the phone as because of Covid 19 I could not travel. The car got delivered to me and looked exactly as described was very clean from inside from the dash to interior . Absolutely happy with my sale, I could not thank you enough.

I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COST By Daniel F | 18 Oct 2018 Speed Motors Or SPEED MOTORS CORNER LTD. Are TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. I was a trusting consumer who believed more or less what was written in the ad. I brought a Mazda RX8 from this company and noticed with in a few days that the car had lost power. On taking it to a mechanic I have used for a long time to be serviced, he couldn't service it. He said if he changed certain things ie plugs it would not start again. After calling Speed Motors and getting no where I have had to take this up with trading standards, who advised me what to do and told me within the first 30 days i had my consumer rights. The only way speed motors would settle is if i agreed to give up the car i traded in a polo and pay £250-£350 in admin cost (it kept changing). I am now having to go to court over buying a car with them
