John who organises most of my pick ups…

John who organises most of my pick ups and delivery’s for me is always extremely professional and polite on the phone, nothing is ever too much trouble for him.
Who ever l talk to at speed shift is welcoming and helpful, I’m very happy with the service I get and I have recommended your company to several of my friends who have needed items moved around the country.
All in all A+
Thanks to John and his colleagues who l think are based in your Swansea office

Thank you for your feedback. In Terms and Conditions all refunds can take up to 30 days. As your refund was added on 8th October this should take place before 7th November. We do understand this can be frustrating, your refund will be done within the advertised timescale.

Rubbish

Rubbish
We placed the orders and paid up front but nothing was collected so we called up and were advised that there was an additional charge. We cancelled the order and will not use again

Terrible service from this company

Terrible service from this company. We have arranged "express" parcel collection on Monday. No contact for 4 days. Wont bother to call back. Have to wait open chargeback case to get the refund.

Laura went above and beyond to make…

Laura went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, and updated. I have now found my perminang europe pallet service for any future needs

Very terrible service. Please avoid this company.

My goods were picked up on Friday(18/7/25) for next day delivery(21/7/25)but was not done and didn't bother to contact me. I called on 22/7 to find out why. They told me they will get back to me. Up till today no one have bothered to tell me what the issue is. A lady I spoke to today kept saying to me I have to wait till she hears from the depot. 360Very terrible service.

Friendly company who collected the next day

After booking I received a phone call to run through my booking and understand the process, really friendly and helpful operator. The driver who collected was friendly and helpful too. The only thing that could be improved on is a tracking service or updates to say when it's delivered as I still don't know if it has been. The receiver had a call to say it will be delivered tomorrow but as it was an ebay sale they haven't got back to me to confirm this happened.

Excellent all round service from SpeedShift

Excellent all round first class service. This was the lowest price I found compared to many others. Friendly and helpful staff and easy to to contact. Simply phone their number and speak to a real person instantly. Now that makes a refreshing change. Pallet collected on Monday and deliverd the next day. Not bad considered I chose the economy option! And this service had extra free added insurance. If only everything was this easy. Thank you.

very unsuall terms and conditions which they will not tell you while placeing the order
chnaged the delivery date one day before it was supposed to be collected and i made all the arrangements

I had booked a next day service for 4…

I had booked a next day service for 4 pallets going to Glasgow. The pallets were collected one day before the stipulated time required. Despite the early only 1 of the pallets made it to the destination on the next day. The other 3 did not arrive till the next day. Upon contacting speedshift I was unable to get the contact details of the depot in Glasgow for my customer to contact.

It was pretty good but my first attempt…

It was pretty good but my first attempt failed because although I paid through PayPal a subsequent message appeared at some stage that I had to press another button to complete the order. Which I didn't see until I went back to the laptop some days later.
Why would I be paying for it if I didn't want to make the deal in the first place?
When I telephone the lady was very helpful and I'm sure asked me questions about the item that had not been mentioned when I was booking online.
The collection and delivery went without to hitch and I thank you for the service.

Not worth the hassle

Many red flags with this company - beware and do not use unless you want the potential hastle and lack of professionalism detailed below.

My experience:
- Booked online, for them to call and say I needed to pay £50 extra. No clear mention of this on their site at the time. The site said surcharges for the Islands may apply, not the Highlands.
- They wanted £10 to cancel despite them cancelling due to not being able to fulfil for the original quoted price.
- A guy called John tried to tell me surcharges were mentioned on the booking page. As above, they weren't, and minutes later I see that they'd updated their site! Sneaky.
- John (and team) ignored me for 13 days, only replying to my emails after a bad Google review.
- 22 days to get a partial refund (despite saying in the Google review reply they'd refund fully, they are still trying to claim a £10 admin fee for doing absolutely nothing). Again, not replying when asked to refund.
- Trustpilot is flagging them as soliciting reviews (look on some of the other review sites).

I'd avoid at all costs and go with another like PalletOnline who were professional, delivered quickly at a better price (no unknown fees), with clear online tracking available, easy to get in touch with, and no petty staff arguing over a tenner/sneakily updating the website to try and justify it. 3 weeks to refund is also not acceptable.

Edit: Had to go through my credit card company to get the £10 "admin fee" back. Speedshift are parasites, avoid.

Laura was very pleasant to deal with…

Laura was very pleasant to deal with and she gave me exactly what I wanted and explained everything to me. She gave me a good price. The whole operation went very well. The man who delivered the pallets couldn’t have been more helpful, I wanted to tip him for putting himself out for me but he wouldn’t take it.
I have dealt with Speedshift many times over the years and I can’t think of any time there was a problem. I like the simplicity of the instant quote setup.
