Incredible food and service. The chef was a superstar and so flexible and friendly. Everyone loved him.
The food was absolutely amazing. It made my night and everyone else’s.

The Hog Roast was an absolute success!

The conditions were less than ideal with a heavy wind blowing through site but Steven and his team Samantha and Nikita were absolutely fabulous and were able to get the very professional setup erected in hardly any time at all! The catering itself was delicious and everyone commented on the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Despite an almost stampede from the site team to ensure they got some good crackling Steven made sure it was properly portioned out to ensure everyone got at least a bit and Nikita and Samantha made sure the queue flowed nicely so people weren’t waiting around forever and were kind enough to leave us with some of the mouth watering coleslaw that was left over.

I cannot recommend Steven and his team enough and want to thank them for their professionalism all the way through from organising the event to carrying out the catering and also tidying up afterwards leaving not even a speck of a napkin on site.

I just wanted to say everyone was raving about the food on the day. Great choice, full of flavour and many going for seconds. I can confirm it took a while for the menu to be agreed as you have such a good choice of options/menus. We were also given any food that was leftover, eaten later that day, the following day and some food even being taken home. I think you could say it was a hit. I myself being a vegan really enjoyed the jackfruit option and nice to have something a bit different. I also want to mention the courtesy call I received from Jarrod the week before confirming all the details and also just prior their arrival on the day. This is the second time we have used your service and no doubt not the last.

Just got to say that the 'Hog Roast' and service for our 50th wedding anniversary was absolutely brilliant, tender pork, great stuffing, lovely apple sauce not forgetting the chilli sauce too, and the guy's that did the serving and preparation were fabulous! Thank you so much it made the day.

The North East team led by Jarrod were excellent. They were very efficient and hardworking, friendly and willing to do anything to make the event a success. The food was excellent and our guests were very impressed. I would strongly recommend Spitting Pig and the North Eastern branch. We had a lovely afternoon in no small way due to Jarrod and his assistant.

Andy was a complete star! Had everything under control and well laid out! The pig was cooked to perfection and the crackling was crunchy chaos to the taste buds! Everyone was seriously impressed with the spread and ate themselves into a food coma!! 😂🤣😂🤣👍👍😎😎

The East Yorkshire team led by Steve were friendly and did a fantastic job. The food was amazing and everyone at the party loved the experience. Would recommend to anyone.
When they left they tidied away without leaving a trace.

The catering at Sam & Adam’s evening wedding party was done by The Spitting Pig - a great party, cracking food and a good selection as well. The staff were very helpful too. Well done - highly recommended!

James and his team (Hampshire Spitting Pig) were absolutely fantastic. The food was sensational; the chicken was as tender as it comes and our guests all devoured the crackling. So good!

Having recently organised a party in our garden I contacted Spitting Pig about a hog roast thinking for 45 people I would be turned down as I had been by several other companies as the numbers were to low

I was thrilled when I got a message back saying they could do it. Menus were emailed over for me to choose from and a deposit taken.

Our guests were not disappointed they couldn’t have been more complimentary about our chef or the pork. It was succulent, moist the cracking and stuffing amazing and so tasty.

From start to finish it was very professional.

My only complaint was it was too good and guests kept going back for more and there wasn’t much left to plate up. 😂

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them

Catered day and night food for our wedding and it was superb! Quality of service, food and staff could not have been better.
Food is hugely important at a wedding and these guys do not disappoint on quantity or quality.

We had Spitting Pig cater for my husband's surprise 50th party at the beginning of March. It was a relatively small event guest wise, held at our own house, with a relatively small garden. I was worried that the company would be more used to corporate events and that their equipment might not fit. However, Alan went above and beyond to make it work in our small space, and it was perfect. The food was out of this world! Everyone commented on how good it was, and because Alan kindly stripped the pig and left a massive pile of leftovers, everyone went home very happy with a piggy doggy bag 😋 The office staff were helpful during the booking process and in the run up to the party when I had queries. Couldn't fault the service at all and hope to be in a situation to use again! I've already recommended to our neighbour, so hoping to be invited to their party 🤣

We had the spitting pig cater for our wedding at Elmore court in October 2021. Everyone loved the food and it was very professionally set up and served. They left all the meat left over for us at the end of the night.

Professional service from enquiry right through to the event! Nothing was too much trouble. The planning was seamless and the execution faultless! Sam and his colleague were a pleasure to have at the event and looked after us exceptionally well.

We had a great party with the addition of a spit lamb with all the trimmings. It looked and smelled great and tasted even better. The service was brilliant from the first booking to the clean up! Will be back for our next event!
