Sportful’s story really starts in 1972 when Giordano Cremonese became intrigued by the challenge of the new Marcialonga cross-country ski race- taking place near his home. In 1985 with a solid reputation for ski wear, the Sportful brand followed Dr. Cremonese’s other sporting passion & began to develop clothing for cycling, using it’s knowledge gained from designing apparel to perform comfortably in changing conditions.

Really terrible support
Really terrible support. I placed an order on weekend and on Monday I received an email with promotion code on the items I purchased. I asked if they can deduct the promo code from my order - so that I would avoid having to return the products (free return) and placing another order - this would made things simple for both sides. The person who responded misinformed me that the promo code doesn't cover the items I ordered, which wasn't true. So I asked if they can cancel my order - to avoid shipping it back and forth. Nope. I had to place another order (with promo code, which worked of course) and wait for the first order to be shipped to me, then return it and wait for a refund. Totaly stupid and unnecesary.

Fiandre Mens Pro Jacket
I've bought quite a bit of kit from Sportful in 2025. It is well made, good value and there are some nice designs. The Fiandre Pro Jacket took my eye in Black Friday deals. I researched Polartech Neoshell and decided that it would fit a gap in my cycling wardrobe. I'm 185 cm, 84 kgs reasonably athletic build so purchased the XL jacket. Packaging and delivery was exemplary and rapid. Initially, I thought the jacket is way too tight, and the sleeves are a tiny bit short...I was on the point of sending it back unworn, but it does get excellent reviews and it was half price. Anyway, the weather changed to rain, wind and a temperature of around 8 degrees Celsius, so I decided to give it a go on two rides this weekend. Paired with a medium weight long sleeved baselayer, I never noticed I was wearing it. I took a Hot Pack No Rain jacket, just in case, but didn't need it until I stopped for coffee and cooled down somewhat. The Pro kept me warm enough and dry in a medium paced club ride over 2 hours. The weather was bad enough that many riders opted out, so a fair test for the kit. I have gone from being very dubious, but prepared to take a chance, to being a big fan of this garment. Pleased I did not return it, and happy that the XL, though initially tight, is the correct size.

Great products lousy communication
Your communication was short and incomplete. I was trying to buy the Fiandre norain bib shorts and communication was like pulling teeth. Website was blocking the link you sent. After repeated attempts on my part I was informed you can’t sell this product to me because of PFAS content. If Trump was aware of this he would immediately put a stop to this ridiculous restriction. PLEASE TRY HARDER TOPLEASE AN OLD CUSTOMER
