I was looking for an alternative to Twitter and found Spoutible to be the most user friendly option. They have an extremely robust safety program which was very important to me. The Spoutible team are constantly adding new features that blow the other options out of the water. Give it a try!

It's my favorite social media platform. I don't shy away from reading replies as I do on Twitter and Facebook. Trolls and harassment are not tolerated. It's a place to have conversations. Video, auto-threading, pics, gifs, lists, polls, anti-abuse settings, and new features regularly. I'm addicted.

Will actually boot trolls and disinformation spreaders off of the site. Quickly. A refreshing change from most social media. It might be a new site (less than a year old) but it already has cooler features than a lot of far older or monied sites.

It's ridiculous seeing 1 & 2 star reviews from people who:
1 - aren't on the platform
2 - don't understand the purpose of the platform
3 - created an account and then never engaged with others
4 - are spewing easily verified falsehoods

Spoutible has been a breath of fresh air in the social media space. I haven't been attacked by racists, bigots or Nazis, since I joined back in February.

I can set how public or private I want my account to be, and without an algorithm spoon-feeding content, I don't see posts that I don't want to see.

The easy post filtering to find content I want to see is fantastic. And there's a lot of whatever content I'm looking for, from music to gaming, to knitting.

If someone gets suspended, then they did something against the TOS, not just for sh*ts and giggles. No personal attacks or abuse is tolerated. You are free to disagree and debate issues till the sun sets, but start attacking people? Bye!

I've never felt more safe and more seen on any other platform, as much as I do on Spoutible.

UI very well thought out New features constantly. Issues resolved quickly. This place is incredible.

Almost rated a 4 as there has been some trolls but they seem to be swiftly dealt with. Extremely friendly interactions. Getting new features all the time and management gives us a head's up when there are user issues. Wouldn't go back to X at all. Please, consider joining!

Spoutible is a community of people on a platform that provides so many attributes that it's difficult to list them all. It's safe for the marginalized as harassment is quickly dealt with; it has block and mute; it has no algorithm pushing content; search and lists can be used as filters; there's both serious discussions and shenanigans... All in all, a rewarding experience.

Spoutible is my social media home. I joined in February upon startup, & immediately felt welcome, quickly forming a group of friendships. I feel my spouts are valued, & I'm able to be open & natural in my dealings with others, unlike other sm sites, where everyone is posturing & putting up fake personas. Besides the fact that Spoutible is fun... between the music, the word games, the chats & banter... Yet... it's also insightful in up-to-date political current events & corresponding past history. I've been a user since before the mobile app, and in the 4 or 5 months since I now use both, edit posts, and engagement is 10x what it was on X. They continually add new features and improvements, but the best part of it all is the breath of fresh air being without trolls and bots. I've followed Chris Bouzy since the days I was on Twitter and used Bot Sentinal to avoid the bad actors. My only other SM account is on Mastadon but this is def. my preference.

Spoutible is less than a year old, so the number of users is still small, and things are still being worked out. But the creator of this site works extremely hard to pack in new features and capabilities on a regular basis, and he asks for input from users all the time. This is the most personal experience I’ve ever had on SM, there are lots of different kinds of people to interact with, and harassment is quickly stopped. This site is excellent, and keeps getting better.

Spoutible is wonderful! More features than any other platform and more added all the time. So many interesting people actively engaged in building a civil, caring community. Site emphasizes engagement, conversation and exploration.

I feel safe posting on Spoutible and feel the management is committed to being a good social media company for the people who use it.

I feel seen and heard here. Everyone that I’ve interacted with has been accepting and genuine. It’s a group of positive supportive people. I actually enjoy being on Spoutible and haven’t returned to X for months. Spoutible is my favorite SM platform and I’m here to stay.

I've been a Spoutible user since it launched on February 1st, 2023 - the first day of Black History Month.
Spoutible is the best social media platform out there, as far as the safety of its users and features. PODS will soon be activated for all users making Spoutible the ONLY social media app with more, and better, features than other social media apps.
The Spoutible team sends polls and surveys to users, and uses that feedback to improve our experience, which is important.

Spoutible is extremely responsive to users. Users suggestions and/or pain points are given top priority. "Likes" are not a priority, information is. You control your feed by what you post or echo. C. Bouzy knows tech and the experience grows smoother by the day. This site is everything the former Twitter should have been.

I've been on Spoutible since 2/1/2023, and it's been a positive and refreshing experience. This is how I described it in a post to a newcomer on the platform:

Twitter is like my drive home from work: a white-knuckle ride in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and everyone there is rude and out only for themselves. Spoutible is like a weekend visit to a fair: happy, helpful people, many entertaining things to see, and I leave with a smile and a sense of peace.

Ever since I’ve joined Spoutible I’ve had a positive experience. I’ve had more engagement than I had with (Twitter/X), and the site makes safety a priority, especially for marginalized folks like myself. It’s easy to toggle on/off the features you want to use and the site’s team is always updating and improving functionality!

Spoutible has created a community of people who support each other without the hassle of trolls, bots, mis/disinformation, and hate against marginalized communities. Great social media experience.

Spoutible is a bot-free, troll-free SM app that protects its users. It's full of intelligent, compassionate people who have real extended conversations.

Because it doesn't use algorithms to elevate or suppress posts, it may take time to follow enough people that your timeline is lively & diverse. It has amazing features but the best thing is that you won't be abused due to zero tolerance for hate speech. It is the closest thing to SM Heaven if you are a member of a marginalized group who is used to being attacked by Nazis, trolls, & bots on (ahem) other sites. I love it there.
