I had terrible customer service while …
I had terrible customer service while trying to rectify a charge that was made in error. I got charged today for an account I am not even using, and wasn't aware even existed. I got on their chat system trying to get a refund and cancel my account, in which the person on the other end was no help. She was just sending me links on how to do things but never answering my questions as a customer. I followed the links and did as they said only to find out that they still wouldn't refund me even though, I had just canceled the account. If I cancel the account on the day I have been charged, I expect a refund. They payment hasn't even gone through yet, but they still refused. The person on the other end also confused my account for someone else's and told me I needed to turn off auto renew on an account that wasn't even mine. I decided against squarespace because as a graphic designer, when uploading images, the images had size constraints and the website would autosize them causing them to pixelate. The user interface for this site was all over the place and was not intuitive. Overall a terrible experience and I will not recommend this site to anyone. if you don't care about image quality and customer service, then go right ahead.
