I have been using stamps.com for years. I mail lots of items form 2 sites. It was actually a postal worker who told me about it. When you sign up, they send a scale so you can print and then drop your stuff off as USPS. Done! It's a great way to save.time and money.

Works great on a Windows machine but will not print Netstamps correctly on a Chromebook.

I'm a pretty savvy online consumer, but I didn't think a well-known site like stamps.com would scam me, so I must have let my guard down. I just wanted to buy a single mail label. I have no need for the service that stamps.com offers. Somehow, I ended up with a monthly subscription and as soon as I saw that I tried to cancel but was unable to do so. I was able to change to a free account, however. I was misled into thinking I had successfully cancelled the paid subscription because the charge didn't appear on my credit card until a month later when I was charged about $21. I don't doubt that they have terms and conditions that cover themselves legally and I should have been more careful. But there's something scammy going on when, honestly, for the first time in decades of being an online consumer, I got charged for something I had no intention of signing up for.

This program is pathetic. I hope you didnt pay your programmers any money. This is the most unacceptable form of inability. The United States Postal Service's program does not identify the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Services differing addresses.

Great service but a lil costly for a small business each month when the profits do not match the expenses

This company should be marked with a red flag. They are charging even after you closed your accounts with them online, they continue to charge. When you call them to ask what is going on they suggest after closing the account online to contact via phone too. On every interaction you have with this company, just carefully review your banking and account details and keep copies of your transactions.

I canceled my account and was still charged. The account i used was hit 7 times until they hit when funds were in it. Customer service sucks. They are rude and run the line that a supervisor will call you back

customer service/technical support is terrible, the old regime before it was sold off was fantastic, now it's lacking, horrible

I started to use STAMPS a few years ago. At first I loved it. Postage at your fingertips. Saved me TIME from going to the usps desk or kiosk every day.The introductory OFFER for $9.95/ month wasn’t bad because I made it up in the savings. For me it was more convenience. Then the costs went up and again, again. Now it is $20.95 a month and for small business is a lot.
I finally switched to PIRATE SHIP after a friend told me about them. No monthly fees and same services for UPS & USPS. Cheaper I think too. I can print on the same labels and save reports every month for expenses at tax time. There is a place to cut/paste addresses at the top and the labels are clear. No problems as of yet.
I DID like using STAMPS, the convenience and shop. Even bought a thermal label printer. Why I gave 3 stars, but the cost to use it is now an expense I don’t have to get the same service elsewhere. They lost me as a customer.

I can't print a stamp for a simple first letter unless I buy netstamps. I can't print postage on a regular envelope.

It's super convenient, but a pricey for home users. The only time I do more that a dozen or so a month is for Christmas cards. I wish the monthly rate was based on how many stamps you print.

Being able to printout stamps right from my office when needed. Also, ordering of supplies via stamps.com online is terrific and very user friendly.

The desktop program takes one or two minutes to calculate the price. This POS system has been wasting my time for the second year in a row. You have to wait for something that even a first grader could calculate. You enter the weight and dimensions, there is already a table for this on USPS.com, and you should instantly get a price. This is not smart and not professional management. They simply do not care.
Phone support says that about 50 percent of their calls are about this same problem. Instead of fixing it, managers waste our time and the company’s money on support staff who only explain why waiting is “normal.” Just one minute sounds small, but I print 30 labels. It is not acceptable to wait an extra 30 minutes every day. My time costs money. AVOID!!!
