I need to contact this company as I have a fault with my windows which are still under guarantee I have been trying for months

My elderly parents purchased a front double door and rear door along with 8 window units, 5 of which were large units with side and upper opening windows, in July 2017. Since then, it has been a catalogue of problems, door handles keep coming loose, upper window handles don’t open as the mechanism does not work properly, the sealed double-glazed units are not sealed as there is moisture in between the panes. I have called the company to see about getting these problems resolved, as I mistakenly assumed as they have a 10-year guarantee that these problems would be resolved. The answer we received was "you are in Scotland and we don’t work there any more". When I called the installation company, they told us they no longer work with St Andrews Home improvements and if you want us to come and fix it then you will have to pay £100.00 for a surveyor to come out, pay for his time, pay for the replacement unit and pay for the installation. The paper that the 10-year guarantee is written on is worth more than the guarantee itself. VERY POOR customer service, I would recommend that you use another company.

Good workmanship. One window had small crack in bottom corner when put in.

Called and they came out right away a d put new glass in. Also came back to fit black screws to doors as fitted with silver to begin with.

Good tidy workers and great finish.

Will use again for the rest of the house.

Got a quote for Windows which was too expensive and never used. They somehow used the wrong name on it my quote. I now get spam phone calls in this name, so this company definitely sells customers information. They are the only people to have my number associated with the "wrong" name

My windows have been in for several years but have a 10yr guarantee. At the start I had several issues between St. Andrews and the loan company shawbrook which I didn’t ask for. Now I find that I can’t claim on guarantee as I recently called the number to find that St. Andrews have went into administration. So how do I hold these responsible for the windows.

Very good service and fitter was very professional I only gave 4srars as the brickie has yet to turn up to correct the cement that came of when the fitter was replacing the window and as that was over two weeks now I just feel that the 4 stars was sufficient till it’s rectified then it will be five

The windows we bought were installed a few years ago without problem and the fitters left the place clean and tidy. There was one issue with a handle on one window which the company came back and fixed. It was a great job and we're happy with the work.

However, since then we have received numerous calls regarding further work. Apparently, "discounts on your account" that will be there for a year for previous customers can only be applied if a sales person comes out again. Last week I had 2 calls within 5 minutes and another the following day. The staff are always friendly but they must be under huge pressure to keep bothering customers. It has put me off getting work done with them again.

Have you gone into administration? We bought a door in 2016 and the letterbox is very rusty. The order number is SA28253. I phoned to make a complaint and was firstly told there would be a £100 call out and this was then changed to a charge of £55 for the new letterbox. I am a pensioner and purchased windows and the new door from St Andrews in good faith. I am really very unhappy with the door and the awful rusty letterbox. It looks very unsightly and not a good advert for the company.

Delighted with our new back door which was installed by Kenny and Muir on Saturday they did a good job, nice to deal with 2 nice workmen.

I got front and rear doors replaced 2018 The experience until the installation completion was first class. Initial salesman knew his stuff talked us through everything and was first class. They installed my doors and that was good until I looked closer the following day as it was dark when job finished.
I noticed a random screw in the inner facing of the front door. No other visible screws just this one. I complained to the adviser who did the courtesy call a couple days later.i have been calling every month since. My call 10 days ago got through and was told no complaint was on record. My complaint has now been put on record and instead of just being a screw I re checked my initial paperwork to find the doors I have weren't the doors I ordered and the locking mechanism is stiff at times. None of these are a massive problem but the fact I'm still waiting after close to a year is a disgrace.
I recieved the sales call after the doors were installed ( the one the salesman warns you about) and the forceful tactics used are shocking. I repeatedly told them I had no interest in further work only to be booked in for another sales call. They were told not to bother coming to my house. Overall for the cost of the doors I would expect far better service than i have received. They have no interest in my complaint and have failed repeatedly when calling me to call back with feedback on my complaint.

professional fitters: clean and tidy workers: they came back next day to complete plaster work out side, as they had great difficulty getting the old windows removed as they had been built into the walls.

Delighted with eight windows and a door, but we were told would have Yale locks, now told tilt and turn windows are not Yale locks but only after work has been done. Salesman obviously neglected to tell us this, also have silver handles, but are going to change these for chrome, so all in all we are quite HAPPY.

Not a good experience with this company. Got windows and door. Door is never been right.needing adjusting every week. They pass the jobs on to other cowboys and they are a nightmare. AVOID

Delighted with my new windows and doors. Installed very quickly and efficiently. There was a flaw which was rectified very quickly. Customer Services were wonderful. Would recommend this company to anyone.

Starts with the sales man who was in my house for almost 3 and a half hours telling you your going to get a mid range window at a low range cost sounds good eventually agreed on a price and the installers came and fitted 7 windows and 2 doors. Then noticed my windows which were grey on the outside had white paint showing through and withing 1 day of instillation my back door would not open also there had been gouges out the frames of window and big scratches that they had tryed to cover up with silicone. called up explained wasn't happy paying the kind of money I have for windows that haven't even been painted right and a door that had broke after one day told I'd be called back waited 3 day got call guy came out I was at work and paint penned the bottom windows a similar color and tweaked the back door did not bother to fix the upstairs windows or my hoppers which are sitting squint another couple of phonecalls to there customer service team and phonecalls to the installers themselves arranged another date for there engineer to come and fix.the problems. Guy turns up with the wrong colour paint pen and no ladder so the door got a quick tweak again and they engineer went of promising I'd get a phone call straight away to arrange the rest getting fixed. Which I'm still waiting on.
Would not recommend them to anyone in fact just told my mother in law to stay clear of them as the aftercare is rubbish and she's just got the same amount of windows and doors same colour several thousand pound cheaper without the hassle. Now going to be another day of work to make sure that it actually gets fixed whenever I get a call back
