SCAM. Avoid at all cost!

I have never written a review in my entire life. But i need to let people know about this. Please avoid Statista at all cost.

The data and customer service is really bad. Weak backing source of fancy data and customer service is so bad that u gonna question if it's even worth paying 100 bucks for such service.

You gonna get way more value with other data companies, period.

I was in an urgent to produce document and i enquired multiple times regarding failure of logging in and help on finding the data I needed. They failed to do so and i ended up using nothing from their website and just googled everything myself.

It was silent for awhile. And i was cool because i didn't pay upfront due their trial scheme subscription initially. But after awhile, they started asking me to pay and i was unhappy. I told them that they weren't there to support when i needed and i couldn't get any promised "useful" data. So I told them i didn't like their service and i didn't use their data and service at all so i'm not doing the full year subscription.

They started harassing me to pay with phone calls and lawyer scare letter reasoning rudely that i have used their "data" and it's after trial. I told them straight upfront to get their management to talk to me but they kept refusing.

Many people are facing similar problems. Please google statista scam before falling into the same trap! AVOID AT ALL COST.

I'm in the marketing field. Don't fall into their trap. 40k facebook likes is easily attainable with $500-1000 by doing facebook ads targetting less develop countries. Also they can easily fake generated reviews at relatively low cost. It's called online reputation management services. That is why their staged review here is still probably looking ok.

I made a police report against them.
