I was twice promised a quote for manufacturing a replacement single skin wall sheet for one of theirs that had rusted right through in 14 years. Didn't hear anything either time. The company is obviously uninterested in customer care.
Asked for colour samples. Arrived two days later - we never get that level of service from other companies to our remote Scottish Island address.

We were recommended this company by our joiner as part of our house build. They sent us the sample for black. The joiner made the order as he had an account and what we got was not the colour they had provided the sample for. They have now refused a refund having initially offered a £500 goodwill gesture apparently (as we were advised via our joiner as this company refused to engage with us). Avoid this company, it does not care about or value its customers in my opinion. To say I'm infuriated does not cut it as we're now out of pocket to the tune of £5k at a time when things are tight enough
We will never deal with Darek again. He lied to us to get us to drive there and tried changing the deal and did not honor what he promised.
Steadmans customer service is truly appalling. They sold us some products that were defective and then refused to acknowledge or fix the problem. They are an abysmal company to try and deal with - avoid!
We've been using Steadmans for cladding materials for over 20 years and I have to say that they are still one of the best cladding suppliers in the UK.
