Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 143 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently report non-existent and appalling customer service, with many finding it impossible to get a response or speak to anyone beyond a call operator. People also encountered significant issues with product quality, including known defects like rear window leaks and engine failures, which the company often refuses to acknowledge or fix under warranty. Many feel that the company only cares about the initial purchase and shows a complete lack of respect or consideration for customers afterward, leading to prolonged repair times and a lack of support. However, some customers also noted positive interactions, specifically mentioning excellent communication and helpfulness from individual staff members, with one reviewer highlighting outstanding customer service from an employee.

Liverpool stellantis.

Liverpool stellantis.
Phoned for my WAV car with engine fault 22 June. Earliest they could book me in was 14 October. They are a joke. Check before you buy to see who do repairs. Of its these jokers, go elsewhere.

If I could give minus stars

If I could give minus stars, I would.
This is the second car I’ve bought from Stellantis & You, and both experiences have been incredibly disappointing.
My previous car (also from them) developed major electrical faults and other issues after just 4,000 miles and two years. I ended up selling it back to them at a £14,000 loss. Hoping for something more reliable and safe, I bought a brand new Citroën C3 2025.
Just 1,000 miles later, the car won’t start. The RAC is currently towing it back to Stellantis & You with over 30 faults, including loose live wires that aren’t connected to anything — simply spare wires left exposed. Once again, I’ve been driving a dangerous vehicle for far too long.
As usual, Stellantis & You have been completely unhelpful. They seem more interested in shifting blame than resolving the problem. I’m already pursuing a case with the Motor Ombudsman and taking legal action over the previous car, yet they still show no urgency or care.
Buyers beware: They’re very friendly and helpful when you’re purchasing the car, but after-sales service is nonexistent. Unless you’re prepared to escalate to the ombudsman or take them to court, don’t expect them to replace or properly fix your vehicle.
I genuinely wish I had never bought from them.

I was very interested in buying an Alfa…

I was very interested in buying an Alfa Tonale and visited the dealership in Erdington. Initially had good contact but no offer of a test drive though received a call back to say someone would call me on Monday which never happened. I was in the area on Monday and called into the dealership looking around outside with no approach from anybody. Went inside and saw no one in the Alfa section so left.
Called them on the phone yesterday and arranged a test drive for 11 this morning and was told I’d get an email confirming this and who I was to meet but yet again received nothing.
As a result I’ve given up on Alfa and will revert to tried and trusted Audi who know what they are doing.
How on earth can you buy an Alfa without a test drive and looking ahead I couldn’t imagine how servicing and repairs would pan out!
Is this why I see so few if any Alfa cars around the Midlands? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.🤷‍♂️

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible. I have to jump through every hoop just to make a payment. It is the worst service ever. If I ever come across a company that uses them, I will make sure to run away.

Don't risk using their financing

I've read the reviews. Thousands complaining that they sent payments that are cashed, but not credited to their account, resulting in "late" payments and credit scores tanking. We bought a Ram 3500. Happy with the truck, but used our own bank for financing despite a 0% offer from Stellantis. No way will I risk that headache or my stellar credit. The company should be shut down and/or sued. Thank you to everyone who wrote reviews!

Hmm I should have read the reviews. Looking like 90% + failure with Customer service, the non-existent customer service. Stellantis's brand line is called "Stellantis & You". Thats not the case.

Warrantees are pointless when they can not be honoured

I wish I had read these reviews before we got a new Peugeot 208 on lease in the UK. We got the car just over 3 months ago and for 6 weeks now it has been at the dealer.

Warrantees are great in theory, but when Peugeot UK doesn't have the parts to honour their warrantees they're a bit pointless. We need a new gearbox due to a defect (bad enough in its own right), but they don't have one they can replace it with and as things stand, they have no idea when they will have one.

Their Customer Care team are next to useless - I just get told different stories and get lied to. The dealer is good, but when they can not get hold of the parts there is not a lot they can do.

Poor quality cars, awful customer service - will never buy a Peugeot again! Which is a shame as the car itself is lovely.

Avoid all Stellantis products

I want to be clear that this review is not about the dealership. NewRoads Chrysler treated me professionally throughout this entire ordeal, kept me informed, worked with Stellantis Techline, and provided a rental vehicle while my car was down.

My issue is with Stellantis and the quality of the product.

My 2024 Dodge Hornet suffered a catastrophic engine failure at approximately 18,000 km. According to the repair records, the engine lost timing and required replacement. What followed was even more frustrating. The first replacement engine supplied by Stellantis arrived with a manufacturing defect and could not be installed. The second replacement engine also arrived defective and had to be returned. Only the third engine was usable.

As a result, my vehicle was out of service for roughly four months while the dealership waited for parts, approvals, and replacement engines from Stellantis.

Having a nearly new vehicle require a complete engine replacement is bad enough. Receiving two defective replacement engines from the manufacturer is unacceptable. This experience has completely eroded my confidence in Stellantis quality control and customer support.

I appreciate the efforts of the dealership staff who did everything they could. Unfortunately, the vehicle itself and Stellantis' handling of the situation have been extremely disappointing.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing any Stellantis product. After dealing with a catastrophic engine failure, multiple defective replacement engines, and months without my vehicle, I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider alternatives to any brand under the Stellantis umbrella, including Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and their other affiliated brands.

Thieves

Thieves
Dishonest
Impossible to deal with them
Repossessed my car in the middle of the night without warning for one missed payment that the dealer said they err paying because the car was in service 5 times in 3 months
Got a lemon law settlement and they ignored it
They are dispicable with the sole intention to cheat , rob and ignore you after the purchase
DO NOT GO NEAR them
Clearly customer service is trained to avoid, delay and not help you

Avoid This Dealership - A Shockingly Dishonest and Unprofessional Experience

My experience with Stellantis &You Leapmotor, Chingford has been one of the most unprofessional encounters I’ve had with any dealership.

Before they even contacted me, I sent a very clear message outlining exactly what I needed:
– An EV (60+kWh)
– Physically in stock
– Immediate collection
– £500–£1,000 deposit
– £175–£225 per month
– No part exchange
– Suitable for a 6ft 3, 115kg driver
– And a request to only contact me if they had something that matched these criteria.

Despite this, I got sucked into their empty promises and went for Leapmotor B10 £299 deposit and £299 /mo, yet these two members of staff called me to confirm a vehicle was physically available and booked me in for the next day to finalise the deal. Shortly after, another staff member phoned and insisted he would arrange the vehicle to be transferred to Leicester, even reminding me that all calls are recorded for training and quality purposes. If those recordings are ever reviewed, they will clearly show the promises made.

He assured me he would update me within the hour. Instead, I received nothing until just before closing time — when I was suddenly told that none of what they promised was possible.

I had rearranged my entire day, cancelled commitments, and was ready to give them my business. Instead, I was misled, strung along, and left completely stuck right before a bank holiday, unable to make alternative arrangements.

If a dealership cannot honour its own commitments, cannot communicate internally, and cannot respect a customer’s time — especially after receiving a detailed written brief — then it raises serious questions about their professionalism and integrity.

Stellantis &You Chingford had every opportunity to simply say, “We don’t have anything that matches your criteria.” Instead, they chose to waste my time with false assurances and contradictory information. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this dealership. I'm just thinking what did i ever do to them, why lie, if you cant then simple sorry we cannot help you, but this!!!!

Unfair Lease-End Charges and No Support to Resolve Concerns

I had a very disappointing experience with Stellantis at the end of my lease. The initial pre-inspection report indicated only minimal wear and tear on the vehicle, which gave me confidence that there would be no significant issues.

However, the final post-inspection report told a very different story, with excessive and unexpected charges that were not consistent with the original assessment. This lack of alignment between the two reports raises serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of their inspection process.

What was even more frustrating was the complete lack of flexibility when I attempted to dispute the charges. There was little to no willingness to review or reasonably work through my concerns, leaving me feeling unheard as a customer.

Given this experience, I have lost trust in Stellantis. I hope they enjoy every penny of the final invoice, as they have lost not only my future business, but also that of my family and friends.

Stellantis burned us with three times

Stellantis burned us with three vehicles:

2018 Ram 2500. Service brake light. Apparently a steering module failed. Dealer could not get part. “Under engineering review”. Recommended I park vehicle until a resolution was developed. I bought the part from a Mopar parts seller and dealer installed it. Three years later a recall on the issue. Finally. Wanted me to park it for 3 years? They won’t touch mine since it was not factory original install.

2022 Ram 5500 CC with Aisen transmission. Installed flatbed, camper, tool boxes, Liquid Spring suspension. Total $250K. Then Aisen transmissions started failing at a high rate for those trucks built mid 2022. Left trucks stranded. Repairs took up to 4 months. “FIx on failure”. We did not take our adventure camper more than 100 miles from our home for 2 years. Lived in fear, took all the enjoyment out of ownership. They would not recall or test.

2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Supposedly flat towable behind RV. Specifically asked about this. Bought it, spent $7k installing tow apparatus. Guess what? Steering axle does not turn to follow the truck. Drags the front end sideways. So a $55k mistake.

Stellantis makes crap vehicles and does not stand behind them. Avoid people!

I am writing this review to warn others…

I am writing this review to warn others about our experience with Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Ramsey, NJ.

In May 2025, after surviving a horrific accident that totaled our previous Jeep purchased from this dealership, we returned to Ramsey Jeep because we trusted them. We even worked with the same salesperson, Dani Lynn Kriscunas. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced.

We purchased a certified Pre-owned 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys that was presented to us as having a “clean” history. The sales process moved so quickly that we were never offered a test drive and were not provided a Carfax report at signing. Because we trusted the dealership, we did not question it - something we now deeply regret.

Within THREE DAYS of purchase, the check engine light came on along with multiple electrical and transmission-related codes.
Since then, this vehicle has been in and out of service for nearly 9 months with repeated failed repair attempts for the SAME issues.

Repairs have included:
    •    faulty wiring harness replacement
    •    BCM replacement
    •    transmission valve body replacement
    •    ongoing electrical communication failures involving the BCM and TCM during rain/wet conditions

This year alone, the Jeep returned to Ramsey THREE separate times for the same issue. During the last two visits, the vehicle sat on their lot for over 20 days each time while we were repeatedly told “no problem found.” On the final visit, the car sat there for 28 days without a proper diagnosis.
After months of unsuccessful repairs, we completely lost confidence in Ramsey Jeep and moved the vehicle to another dealership for further diagnosis.

We have spent thousands of dollars out of pocket on repairs and rental vehicles while still not having a reliable car. The most disappointing part has been the lack of accountability and meaningful support after the sale was completed.

We repeatedly communicated our concerns to service advisor Khary Ogunniyi and service manager Ron Federico. While they appeared to listen, we often felt the urgency and attention necessary to properly resolve the issue simply was not there.

We also currently have an open case with Stellantis corporate, but unfortunately have received little meaningful assistance there as well.

This is no longer a minor inconvenience, this is a repeated unresolved defect involving multiple failed repair attempts, financial hardship, and serious safety concerns.

Please think carefully before purchasing a vehicle from Ramsey Jeep.

I rate them as 0-STARS

I rate them as 0-STARS! called because my truck with 5K miles running down bats. I replaced and same thing happened again. I called and they were supposed to come pick up the Ram 3500 on Monday, I took the day off and the driver was a no-show. First said he had a flat. Next he could not find my home address (funny how uber/ lift has no problem). None-the-less- I replaced total of 3 bats. Vehicle started but would not go in drive. 2 Day later, vehicle started, went into drive. NOW no gages on the cluster working. I drove the vehicle to local dealer now knowing fuel, speed or other fluid, ect. reads

Do NOT Buy Jeep!

I have been so patient about the multiple recalls but Ive had it. I have been on hold for ovre an hour to try and speak to someone about my rental reimbursment claim form 2 months ago. Agents are clearly reading form a script and are totally useless. I hate this company and regret buying my Jeep.

Why can’t I leave a 0 star review? They do not deserve 1 star. Extremely poor quality vehicles. Terrible customer service. Quality has dropped so low that you can spend 90k on a vehicle and the radio not work for 7 months. No solutions nobody cares.
