Ordered the Naos quartz- black dial with milanaise metal band. Very nice watch. Simple design. Black on silver is always a winner in my book. I spent months looking at probably 1000+ watches of all kinds before settling on this one. In this price range, more can be had (seconds hand, chrono, skeleton, etc), which I didn't discover until after ordering this one. $150 feels like a better price range for this simplistic piece. 38mm and thin case height were the combo I was after so I'm OK with the purchase. One issue for me is I popped the clasp open to adjust to my wrist size but the clasp isn't relocking. The Sternglas (and Youtube) instructional vids don't quite help as my clasp is slightly different than the one(s) in the vids. 1 week after purchase and I still haven't worn it yet due to this issue.

This is going to sound like a bot review, but I was geniunly impressed enough with Sternglas and its customer service to go write this review (I am a real person I promise!). I bought a Naos XS rosegold with sapphire glass about 1.5 years ago and have loved the heck out of that watch. I wore it every day, so imagine my sadness when suddenly from one day to the next it just stopped (6 am on the 6th ironically). This is however a positive review as the customer service was incredible. The watch was still within its warranty period so I contacted Sternglas and they instructed me to return the defective watch and within a week they had sent me a replacement. The person who helped me at Sternglas, Sarah, was incredibly helpful, quick in her responses and genuinely kind, so shout-out to her in particular. Will continue to love the heck out of this watch.

The website ilwas super easy to navigate. Delivery of watch was super fast. The watch itself is amazing, really good looking fitting amazing on the hand. Probably will be thnking on getting one more :)

The watch is classy, minimalist looking Bauhaus style, but it is inaccurate. 2-3 minutes a week fast is unacceptable. I have had Seiko automatics before and they were never this inaccurate. Costumer service has been disingenuous, it seems as they know the issue, they're playing dumb. They'll go out of business if they keep doing this.

The watch Naos Automatic Black looks good, but that's where all its merits end.
It is so inaccurate that I have to check it every week or two. It reminds me of the old days when we only had Soviet watches with such accuracy.
Better run away from this company because you will get the most inaccurate watch in the world with the explanation that this is so by design.

I received the watch very quickly, the day after I ordered. Nothing to complain about here.

Whole user experience is very good, starting from the website, options to choose from, „familiarity“ and communication from the Sternglas team, delivery, packaging and the design and quality of the product itself.

Amazing quality

I lost a screw holding the case back of an automatic Sternglas watch (by adjusting the movement, so I didn't expect it to be under warranty). The customer support offered me the option to send the watch to Germany for repair for € 69 instead just sending the screw for a reasonable price/postage fee. I liked the brand and their products, but this outright absurd anti-customer experience saddened me a lot.

I purchased on August 5, 2024 a Hamburg Chrono Silver watch (order number E10037841); credit card charge made, confirmation email received with delivery stated within 3/5 days. I never received the shipping notification. I try to contact customer service, which responds with an automated email saying that due to heavy email traffic (in the middle of August) they won't be able to get back to me for 8 business days. I bought a Sternglass Automatic Naos white which I received for my birthday in december 2023, now in august 2024 less than a year later the watch which is certified 5ATM and supposed to withstand showers and surface swimming which is all it has ever done has taken up water in the lens. Sternglas refuses to repair the watch in warranty. This was my third Sternglass and also my last one.

This automatic watch goes fast by about 5 minutes every 15 days. It literally means I mistime things wildly, which is deeply irritating, and I constantly have to recalibrate it every few days. For a watch that is almost £400 you'd want it to be accurate - I own a Tissot T-Classic Le Clocle which keeps time perfectly. I used to think it was me, but now I know it's the watch, after 2 months. I've since tried to return it but Sternglas won't do anything about it. They've been so patronising, telling me that this 'deviation' is to be expected from an automatic watch, and I should have known. Such great customer service. I'm contacting trading standards, and my bank to retrieve my money.

I have been looking for a watch for some time. I came upon the Sternglas site through a UK website. I was bowled over by the choice and contemporary designs on offer.

I have just taken delivery of the
Marus 42 mm Automatik. It's a beautiful and very sturdy watch which looks very stylish.

It started off well. I bought a watch for a Christmas gift, it was beautiful but there was an issue with the crown so I contacted customer service. They responded quickly and arranged an exchange. I received a replacement but this time the watch was late so it never showed the correct time. I contacted them again and was told that there was an issue with the whole batch of that model so I would need to wait 30 days for a replacement. They sent me a label to return the watch again so I did. It's been over 30 days now so I got in touch again. They said they have some in stock now but they don't have any record of me returning the faulty watch. I said I did as soon as I got the label. It's been a week now and I still haven't heard from them. I had enough of this back and forth now and the silence. Obviously the watches they sell, at least that specific model, are not of high quality and it seems that the customer service just becomes very slow when it comes to issues. I will leave it at that but certainly won't be buying Sternglas watches in the future.

The watch look great, however, what's more noteworthy is that you're sure to know that the customer service team is very dedicated, helpful and helped me solve my problem when my watch stopped working. Why can't Swiss brands selling watches for thousands of dollar do this??

Ordered on a Sunday, in my hands by Tuesday. A truly beautiful watch and even though a limited edition of only 750, at a very reasonable price.

I ran into Sternglas on Instagram, and I quickly started dreaming of owning a piece myself.

Even though I haven't worn a watch for more than five years, I've always liked the looks of a field watch.

Luckily, I know a gent who collects and repairs watches for a living. He took a look at the specs and materials and gave his blessing, so I went ahead and got a Taiga GMT.

I'm no watch connoisseur, but I'm good at spotting details.
Out of the box, the watch is flawless, second to none in this price range.

Initially, I found it a bit larger than I expected, but that seems to be the trend for contemporary watch design.
I realised it seemed large because of the GMT indicators around the watch face, but I've gotten used to it.

The watch is light, virtually scratchproof, and has the look and feel of a premium product. It's discreet, classy and versatile. And it does sit nicely on my average-sized wrist.

I plan on getting a rubber band as well, so I can preserve the leather band for longer. I also prefer the feel of rubber over the summer months when I sweat more, plus the sporty look.

Not to mention, it works like a charm.

I'm happy with my choice, and I'm confident my Taiga GMT will become my long time companion.

My modesto Black is just perfect, not (too) retro (Bauhaus), not fashionable, nor out of fashion, a kind of classical must.

The watch is beautifully designed and a pleasure to wear.
