I have been a member with StewMac for several years now, and I have been very pleased with the quality and service. Yes, their tools cost more, but they're leaps and bounds ahead of their nearest competitors. They also stand behind their products better than anyone since the old school Sears Craftsman tools.

Stewmac is the best
Stewmac is, has and will always be my go to shop for guitar everything. I ordered replacement tuning machines and they never showed. After contacting customer service a new set was immediately shipped. A week later the original set showed up. When I called to find out where to ship the original set back I was told to just keep them. When u receive the best customer service you continue to shop.

Needed tuners, got them.
I was able to order a set of tuners for my banjo with no difficulty. Hopefully they will be a perfect match for the holes in the banjo head, as well as mine.

Dislike: Merchandise is available for much less at other sites. I was supposed to receive a 15% discount automatically applied to my order at checkout; no such discount.

As a byproduct of top-notch quality and our Lifetime Promise, sometimes our tools can be a bit pricier than others. Regarding that Promise, if a tool breaks or wears down with use, we replace that for free. Any StewMac tool purchase is a lifetime purchase!
