We ordered six chairs from Stocktons and were contacted within a few hours regarding on what date we wanted the delivery to be.Very high quality product and every element of contact was handled professionally.On day of delivery was given a courtesy call by Graham who couldnt have been more helpful as well as taking away all the packaging.A very well run business.I would definitely recommend them and have no hesitation of further business in the future.

I had an amazing experience shopping at Stocktons! The store offers a great selection of high-quality pieces, and Sally, the sales associate, was incredibly helpful. She listened to my needs, provided excellent advice, and made the whole process enjoyable specially with on time delivery as promised! —highly recommend her and the store!

Poor customer service experience - Ancoats branch.
I was gifted furniture, that unfortunately doesn’t fit in my flat. Tried to go return/exchange these in store bought items, only 9 days later. I was told I couldn’t get a refund or exchange because :
1) ‘I’ve had them too long’
2) They were clearance bought items

The unfortunate thing is, I did try return these earlier. However, on the only day I managed to leave work at a decent hour. I arrived at the door at 17:15 and the doors were shut, and staff were in the office.
On the day I did eventually manage to go in, I found the senior member of staff rude. I would have appreciated if she had come away from her desk to explain the return/exchange policy to me in a good customer service way. Instead of just saying ‘we don’t do that’, with me stood across the threshold of the office door.

I don’t recommend going here. You can get similar furniture with better customer service and better return/exchange policies elsewhere.

Update: Thank you for your response. However I’d like to point of out that the response neither further explains or justifies your return/exchange policy. Which doesn’t allow for any flexibility or understanding for the consumer.

Lastly, as my review stated. I was gifted these items. Therefore, although my mother and i appear similar, we are not the same person!

Absolutely first class customer experience - from sale to delivery. Friendly, helpful proactive people with some of the best customer service out there.

We walked around the Stocktons showroom a couple of times to get a feel for their ranges (wide and diverse) then booked an appointment to meet a member of their team in their showroom while we decided on the pieces we wanted (dining room table and chairs and sideboard); we received excellent and impartial advice , and took the opportunity to walk around the showroom further and order a few extra pieces too. Our order arrived on time and the installation team were very professional and tidy (whilst still very friendly) - they unboxed all items on site, checked over everything with us to make sure we were happy and tidied up before they left. Faultless service, and we are so happy with our new dining room furniture. Thank you Stocktons!

what an uplifting experience to deal with this company! Ian in sales and customer service couldn't have been more helpful with the order I made online and made a mistake in the number I ordered. He rectified the problem immediately. Adam the delivery chap was equally pleasant and helpful and took all packaging away with him. I will certainly be back !

We recently took delivery of a Dojo sofa set from Stocktons. It’s fantastic, great quality, comfortable and looks great. This is the second item we have purchased from Stocktons in recent years and the sales team were great once again. Would highly recommended visiting their showroom.

Fabulous furniture and accessories, the designs, styles and fabrics are awesome, you have to see it to believe it. Well worth a visit even if it's just to window shop. This family owned business knows all about customer service.
