Jason of stones audio came around and hung TV on the wall and speaker and set up a new turntable from them and it was awesome job no problems . Thank you both for great service.

Alex at Stone Audio offered considerable experience when a decided to return to vinyl and update my turntable. I purchased a recent Linn Sondek from elsewhere and took it to Stone Audio who are an approved Linn dealer for evaluation and setup. The process was completed with great professionalism and knowledge, releasing the turntables true potential.

I looked forward to my first visit to Stone Audio with some excitement, I left feeling less than satisfied by the frankly dismissive and patronising attitude of the person I encountered in the showroom. Not only was he completely negative about my enquiry regarding the Pro-ject Tube Box DS2 ("Oh you don't want to go down that road . . ."), he also appeared to take offense when I had the temerity to suggest that if it was such a poor product he ought not to be stocking it ("Well you can buy it if you want . . . ").

I'm used to, indeed I expect, staff at specialist Hi-Fi shops to have opinions and to be able to offer advice about products; but to be more or less dictated to in such an arrogant and off-hand manner is both discouraging and annoying. Perhaps some basic customer service training is in order.

I left with the distinct sensation that this person would really be happier not to have to deal with customers face-to-face and, in my case I shall be more than happy in future to indulge his wish.

Stone Audio is my nearest Meridian dealer and the two hour drive was well worth it. As COVID-19 restrictions were in force we made an appointment and were met by Alex and Jason. Their outlet is an absolute Aladdin's cave of wonderful and well selected audio and visual equipment and accessories. We spent a very relaxed few hours listening to a wide variety of material, excellently guided by Alex before making our purchase. Delivery and installation was smooth and efficient.

This is the way to buy quality audio equipment and I shall be going back for more. Well done Stone Audio!

Stone Audio undertook a major overhaul of our home cinema and household media systems. The in house genius, Jason, not only guided us to excellent products but also installed them perfectly. This included new 4k Projector, installation of SKY Q and Mini Boxes and an HDMI matrix.
Everything has worked flawlessly until we recently switched to 4G internet as we have abandoned all hope of getting fibre in our village. We had several complicated issues due to the Router change which Jason was able to solve over the phone and online even though it is several years since our systems were installed.
Stone Audio is the best AV/Media Company we have engaged and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I made an order online last week: no response.
I contacted them by email: no response.
I tried to cancel the order: no response.

The website is still up but perhaps the company has closed? They have not taken payment so no lasting damage done. I can only agree with the other one star reviews - this place has awful customer service.

Good old fashioned customer care - even though they weren't going to make anything from it, the guys at Stone Audio were patient and very helpful. Can't recommend more

I was looking for 2 Audiolab 8300mb mono amplifiers lots of dealers claimed to have them in stock but in reality they don’t and neither did audiolab,so imagine my delight and surprise when I phoned stoneaudio they had two pairs in stock I promptly paid for them and was told they will be with you tomorrow true to their word the amps arrived next day.
Delighted with the performance of these underrated amps also the service I received from stoneaudio.

After having trouble with an order from another dealership the team at Stone Audio stepped in and had my turntable with me within a week. Great communication at all stages. Glad I got in touch with them. Thanks Guys.

A friend recommended I take my 25 year old turntable to Stone Audio as I was experiencing issues with distortion and general dissatisfaction with sound quality. Having exhausted my own knowledge of set-up it was time to call in the experts! Chris at Stone Audio was able to quickly identify some issues with the fundamental set-up of my turntable and return the sound to its former glory! When I went to collect my turntable (a Michell Engineering Syncro) Chris spent over an hour with me, talking me through what was wrong, how to avoid problems reoccurring in the future plus LOADS of additional hints and tips based on his (clearly) huge amount of experience of working on all types of audio equipment.

It's been a real pleasure to not only learn some valuable lessons in audio from Chris but also to take home a turntable that is sounding better than ever and helping me to re-discover my record collection.

What a great place, you can't really call it a shop, rather a collection of high class hifi. I have visited twice, both times to have upgrades to my Linn Sondek, and have had superb service on both visits. The staff, particularly Chris, are friendly and very knowledgeable, and make you feel really welcome. I will be back! David Duncanson.

Had trouble sourcing a power pack myself, as product was old, found Stone Audio on the internet and spoke to Jason, he managed to source it for me over in America. Within 10 days he had ordered it and had it to me.

Fantastic service. Phoned a few places re late order for next day delivery but no one else even bothered to ask what I wanted. The lady at Stone Audio couldn’t have been more helpful. Site now saved as a fav for any audio needs

After searching for a particular product I found Stoneaudio and their website showed that it was in stock. After ordering and paying for next day delivery I got no confirmation of delivery. A phone call resulted in 'I will ring you back in 15 minutes'. Never happened. Neither did the several other calls I made.

E-mails were also ignored. I have now cancelled payment on the basis that this company cannot be trusted. The web site is still showing the product in stock (Oppo HA1 headphone amp) even though the production of the amp has been discontinued.

Stoneaudio were recommended to us by a friend. Jason, their Engineer, originally came to do some maintenance work when prying fingers had caused settings in our Home Cinema set up to implode. He sorted everything out in no time at all. So when we decided to upscale our system to the 4K spec he was out first port of call. Upgrading TV, Projector, AV Receiver and Blu Ray was a substantial job and Stoneaudio not only came up with brilliant choices of kit but at competitive prices which were installed quickly and seamlessly by Jason.

Normally with such a big installation their are programming glitches that become apparent. After several weeks of use everything works exactly as it should and is perfectly integrated.

We could not recommend this company more highly.

A few years ago, I misplaced the mains cable for my turntable. I had absolutely no luck in obtaining a replacement from the manufacturer, nor, over the years, from any other source. I gave up.

Then, I found a link for Stone Audio, and, expecting nothing, I emailed them. Next day, I was contacted by the MD, the lovely Alex, who sorted things out very swiftly I am happily listening to vinyl again, thanks to Stone Audio's care and attention. .

very impressed with show room, demo facilities and warm welcome which led to me purchasing a pre amp and power amp. More importantly, received superb support when system developed a fault. Alex lent me a pre amp whilst mine was checked over, Jason also did a 200 mile round trip to check system and set up in my house. Fault was not with the equipment but with the mains supply picking up interference. Would recommend Stone Audio without hesitation and will use them again when I look at streaming.
