Absolutely appalling experience with…
Absolutely appalling experience with Mercedes-Benz Rayleigh.
I entrusted them with my £200,000 G-Wagon for what should have been a straightforward service. Instead, my vehicle was returned damaged.
The exterior trims were damaged after what appeared to be TFR (traffic film remover) was sprayed onto them and left in direct sunlight for hours, permanently marking them. My driver’s door was also chipped while the vehicle was in their care.
The vehicle was inspected, and I was told this was not the first time something like this had happened. Liability for the door damage was initially admitted, yet they are now refusing to take responsibility for the full extent of the damage.
Dealing with the service manager, Paul Smith, has been incredibly frustrating. In my experience, I have been given conflicting information throughout the process and have completely lost confidence in what I have been told.
As a result of the way this has been handled, I am now taking legal action to recover my losses.
I chose Mercedes-Benz Rayleigh expecting a premium level of care and customer service. Instead, I have been left with a damaged vehicle, an ongoing dispute and a very stressful experience.
I would strongly urge anyone considering using this dealership to think twice before leaving their vehicle in their care.
