When I came to pick ups the car the Service assistant could not tell me what service plan A was and what work is included in that package, furthermore, she nor the service manager seemed to know if the vehicles electrical system had been checked. Eventually I was told the system was not checked, something I find rather bizarre on an all electric car. No battery check SOC or resistance check no indication of battery health check, makes you wonder why the service is almost as expensive as my other car (petrol / hybrid) service.
The service assistant was no clear about the service record and again it too time to find out that actually it is now a digital record held by Mercedes. I had to ask to get a copy.
Further to all of this ever since I got home I still keep getting reminders to call to book a service, so clearly someone has not reset the vehicles memory or system status - do I need to bring the car back in to get this sorted....... I live over 1 hr 30 min away from Mercedes Glasgow!
Really not a great experience, the video seemed to major on my tyres tread depth in detail, Id be more interested in seeing the suspension checks and actual brake pad measurement........ I know what to look for when a tyre is running out of tread depth.

The workshop mechanics were super and…
The workshop mechanics were super and quick, but on collection of my car which was covered in bird poo and interior not so clean I felt a bit let down as previous occasion on recalls etc the mercedes Giffnock branch had always handed my car back washed and clean. I know this is time consuming but even so much of a hose over the car would have been better. I am one for keeping my cars in spotless condition so I did stop on the way home to get the car cleaned. I also enquired about an upgrade in the next few months to be told by the salesman that he did not have what I was looking for to try the Hamilton branch .
